And it's back. Damn my 5 day old league game hasn't timed out I want my placement and I don't want to start a new one /annoying kid rant

 

It's back up

 

Well that was odd. In my last game, I was playing Adorables in the Foundry. It was fairly early-game, and my opponent was just sort of throwing around units, so I attempted to sneak in Mobi and a Sniper from the side-passage, but I misplayed catastrophically and left my entire invasion team vulnerable. He responds by killing my nearby Heavy and ambushing Mobi with a Soldier. I could have still shot the base for 3, but he had basically thwarted my attack completely, and with only a Medic standing by at the base to take on his hoard, I was almost certainly going to lose this one.

But! He gave up after failing to kill the Sniper, for some reason. What the heck? He obviously over-estimated the size of my hidden army, because he still had two Heavies and two Soldiers. I don't understand what happened, but now I'm rank 1 in my Division of the Clever League.

It's... it's such an empty accomplishment! *sob*

 

Never ending game

So I'm on my first game after placement. Each base is at 1. 128 turns and counting ...

 

Finally timed out, I'm now in masters league

 

I think us here are mostly better than the people in te league. I've learned lots playing against you guys and even having 2 matches in glitch, victory wasn't really hard. So keep the friendly matches coming and if you want to learn more about the game I think this is as good place as any.

I like Ninjas.

 

I've realized you can't scout rush on the smaller maps (most of the time). You have to clump your heavies and soldiers together, with a medic behind them.

 

Exactly my tactic on Sharkfood, rarely costs me a loss

 

... how did a Super-Titan get matched to a Clever, anyway?

 

My question is how someone gets into super titan league with only 5 league wins.... Really question how the are revamping there system.

 

Can you imagine OML creating a ninja team? Would be fun

 

I wouldn't discount the idea, "cute" and "ninjas" go together surprisingly well.

 

I'm just that awesome! Haha, on a more serious note, I have no idea how I got out into that league.

 

Maybe with a unit that can move twice per turn... or some kind of stealth o.o!!

Maybe you just crushed your placement opponents v hard! I myself got into Master's and all 3 opponents have been easier than my placement, and those got into gifted.

 

I am still trying to work my way into Master's League. I won my 5 placement matches and the next 15 in a row. I think my record is pretty good and I am up to 30 wins with no promotion yet. =[
