When did he ever say that? And it is the best strategy game, true that. Anywayyy... Thanks for the gameplay vid Sanuku! Looks great!
Before I wanted this because of who the developer is... after watching Sanuku´s video I want this for what it seems to be I see myself buying the whole pack instead of each one individually Sanuku, THANK YOU
The news section does say there's an opening sale on all IAP so the prices will probably change at some point. But for now it's £1.49 per team (there's 2 extra teams at launch) or £1.99 for the Uber pack that says it includes all teams they ever release.
Some advice: its hard to change leagues once you are assigned, so play a decent chunk of unrated games first! Otherwise you will go something like 2-3 in your 5 placement matches and think "that is ok" but be placed in the Fluffy Bunny League and stuck there quite a while even if you start dominating. I argued that they should come up with a less offensive name, but no one was real persuaded by my argument
Really hope they add a single player mode to this. Just for when ive not got Internet (when I'm out of the house, I'm using iPod touch) I've only played a couple of matches so far. But it's looking to be really cool. Much better than hero academy because you have a lot more options of what to do with your turn. Can't wait until midnight uk so I can download the offical uk version and buy the IAP.
So excited for this one. Definitely buying the iAP. I'll probably delete Hero Academy later tonight. I hate how the units/power-ups you draw each game are completely based on luck in HA. Sometimes, I get 3 healers in my first "hand". Ridiculous. "Mirror-matchups" are a lot more interesting in strategy games. I'm pretty excited about the league system. Also, fog of war is necessary for a game like this. The last async TBS that actually focused on how well you played was Uniwar, which launched off async TBS on the iOS. The league system is a lot like the one used in StarCraft II actually xP. Hope the player base is there. Should be my GOTW.
Does it really not have a skirmish mode? (Vs. computer) I'll still pick this up, Tilt To Live was brilliant!
5 placement matches puts you in a league. You can move up to a higher league but it takes a good while, a lot more than 5 games. Leagues are sticky, and hard to escape. So its best to not blow the 5 placement matches too badly unless your ok with the fluffy bunny league. That is really what its called!
Nope. It has three modes. League mode (ranked matches), friendly mode (against friends or random people unranked) and pass n play mode.
Love the Uber Pack IAP option (access to all current and future IAP), will be supporting this awesomeness as soon as it shows up in my App Store.
