Yeah, I think I've heard that one before somewhere right before I lost a game. Async games on the iOS seriously take up all the time I spend with the platform. Edit: If you want to play someone extremely good, shoot Juuicetin an invite. He's already posted a few times in this thread, so he's clearly from TA as well. I'm 0-2 with him.
This game is amazingly addictive! I think it's among my favorite iOS titles ever so far. This is the first asynchronous game I've played against strangers and it really is incredibly fun. What other asynchronous games do you recommend backtothis?
Like Outwitters: Uniwar HD Hero Academy Others: Disc Drivin' Words With Friends Scramble With Friends Not too big into board games, so I can't really make any recommendations for the myriad of async board games available on the iOS.
Thanks for the info. I've played Hero Academy and had fun with it against my friends but I've never tried any random opponents. I like the league system in this game, though it's a bit wonky at the moment.
Master League. Finally. This is going to be fun. Number one in my division has freaking 188 points o.o. I'm at rank 12 with 82 points. Going to be a long journey to get to Titan tier. Really glad people are playing so quickly now though. Finished all of my placements today in less than half the time it took to finish 2 of them previously.
Finally made it into the league system. I'm currently sitting at position 50 in the Burning Face Division of the Gifted League. The leader in my division is someone name Whoa86 with a staggering 256 points ?!? Two things I'm loving about this game: The league system, and 2vs2. I haven't finished enough 2vs2 to be ranked in a 2vs2 league yet, but wow, is it ever fun! Can't wait to try it with someone I know on my team, going up against two other friends!
So after a couple of games vs friends I decided to do the 5 placement matches and instantly got placed in the Super Titan League
I don't understand the rank system. It placed me in Super Titan after 5 placement wins, and I was sitting pretty at #3 after my 6th win. Currently #4 after 7 wins. It seems ridiculous that I would be ranked higher than someone who's won dozens of games.
Yeah, how about no? Out of all the possible suggestions this ones strikes me as the most unfair. I don't plan on buying the extra pack right now but I might in the future. I play this game as often as I can, so if they lock me out now and punish me for something other players do, I'm deleting it instantly.
Agree, so confused at how it works. How does me going 5/5 put me in masters and others in titan? Also don't get how 1 loss made me get demoted? Thought you had to have a losing streak to get demoted... But first game into master I lost and that was it... Now prolly have to win 10+ in a row to make up for one untimely loss... Bleh
Gee, you'd better delete all the other non-free apps in the store then that you...can't actually get your hands on. Somebody who's paid for the game would be getting something that someone who hasn't paid isn't getting, and that's unfair? Kindly untwist your logic. Possibly also ask yourself: if you are "playing as often as you can," shouldn't you be feeling guilty yet about not paying three bucks for your entertainment? If not, why not? If you retain your current viewpoint however, I wouldn't worry too much about the above suggestion. It's highly unlikely to get implemented at this point. This game launched with a highly generous pricing model, and I'm sure the developers took players who will take advantage of it and feel fully entitled to, into account.

I'll untwist my logic as soon as you get off your high horse. You make it sound as if I'm murdering puppies by playing a FREE game FOR FREE, while on the other hand your $3 are curing cancer and ending world hunger. Get over yourself. If the game had originally started off as paid for, then your point would have made sense. In the current format, though, it would simply be unfair punishment and I hope the devs won't shoot themselves in the foot like that.
Any update on a fix for all the crashes? Mine seems to more and more, and not just when I make games now.
Sorry if this has been mentioned but, is there a way to cancel a move you make (e.g. in Hero Academy if you make a wrong move you can reset your turn by pressing the little circle in the corner), does Outwitters have this?
No you can't and it won't happen because it would make the fog of war pointless. On another note is anyone having trouble with getting into a league? I've finished 19 league games and I'm still not in a league? I used to be in the gifted league until the reset and since then my wins go up but no league placement? It doesn't really matter jut thought I'd mention it though.
Some games have lots of people abusing their free accounts, and the only way to reduce that abuse is to provide the opportunity to avoid playing against the free accounts. That's not "punishing" anyone, it's improving the game for those who actually pay for it.
