The game definitely needs some kind of fix regarding the notifications; very often when i get one and open it to go to the app or that game the app crashes :S
I wish you can give up a game even if it not your turn. Kind hard to play when you have 19 games that are still waiting for them to move. It been +4 days and most of them I'm is still waiting for their first move.
If my enemy is close to lose the game and he just stop playing. The game will end after 7 days. Who is the winner? The one who was last on turn? Nobody?
Is anyone else having problems today? I've just had 2 or 3 games where I took the winning move and it says it tried but couldn't submit your turn.
And everytime I try to play my first ranked game for placement the app crashes while looking for a game. Tried it 3 times. iPhone 4S on latest firmware btw..
yes i had some problems with finding games, turns etc. today but nothing that couldn't be solved by giving it just another try.

It's my game of the week. =) I downloaded summoner wars but haven't had time to play it yet. Probably as im playing loads of outwitters.
Has anybody found a good strategy to defend against people who rush runners? Snipers placed right can hold off some, but...
Having issues with ***sandbox mode*** signing into game center on my 3Gs. I realize this probably isnt the games fault, but if anyone has ideas for me just PM me please. thanks.
When you can, kill one with a soldier so he cant take back. But sometimes you need to kill one with a runner even though it will be traded back and forth. Use the time to bring your pieces up. When you advance your own runner, do it in range of your heavier pieces so that if he takes it with a runner you take back and end the trading. Dont let his runners in range of your base build up, and dont sit back in a ball without scouting. You need to take board position and scout so you can see the runners before they get to your base. Its not generally a good idea to buy another sniper just for runner defense, but your right that the one you start with on some maps can be handy.
It's because you were part of a beta or developing your own app which supported sandbox. To reliably get out, I've had to: 1) Try to sign into GC 2) after I get the message 'create a profile' close GC 3) Kill GC (double tap the home button and remove it from the springboard) 4) Repeat if necessary. 4/5 of my placement's won - which I'm happy about. 3 more placement matches going all over 48 hours since they last did their turns... grumble.
I must say, I'm pretty disappointed with the community. I understand the annoyance of people taking too long to take their turn. 4 hours? That's fine. 8? Hey, I have to sleep some time. 24? That's pushing it, but I can deal. However, when someone chats, "Go, f@ggot" at me after a mere two minutes go by without me taking my turn, well... that's not acceptable. I work a full time job, have a wife and 3 year old. I love this game and I'll typically take my turn either almost instantly, if I can, or within 20 minutes or so. If it takes 15 minutes to take a turn no one should have the right to be angry. So I'm going to be a jerk. If someone yells at me for not taking my turn in this inappropriate way, I'm waiting 6 days and 23 hours to take my turn. I've already set the reminder on my phone. I've got three people on this timer now. They are very, very angry with me. I'm totally fine with that.
I can log into GC just fine from the GC app, but when outwitters opens, it asks me to login still, and after multiple attempts it doesnt work
They have other things to worry about, but a 'Report innapropriate chat' would be nice. I have no problem with people getting banned from gameplay (or at least banned from using chat) for abuse like this.
Well, those who yells at you "Go, f@ggot" are kids but after reading rest of your post I must say you are bigger child then them. I got only once this type of msg, but more politely then yours though. He wrote 3 msgs within 3 minutes: 'go'..'go already'..and 'goo plzzz'. My answer was: 'sry this is async game and I have 15 games active, you should start more games too you know... he said 'Ok' and we finished our game in 1 hour and the most important thing - I have one more free spot for new game!
