Sure! I had Tau Stasis for a bit too (not linked tough), but I had to sacrify it for some Si to rebuild the telescope not to get lost if I recall well. To be honest the bulk of the game was with the Nomad, when I acquired many techs. Then I found the bird ship (no space for tech), then the enemy ship....when finally I found the tree ship I started drilling (being able to probe planets is awesome) then build up that last ship that let me go from green to blue to red. Too bad I made the error and got teleported, my fault.
Same to me, unable to reach to red ending while one star away to green ending but then received an event that to let me choose 4 exits, I chosen last exit and then from green ending warp to somewhere at the middle. No more O2 and then i died.
I constantly avoid any event that can warp me now if I have not enhanced engines...they are too dangerous. I play since Intellevision age...but Out There is really among the best sci fi games I ever played. After COUNTLESS hours (I really do not want to know) the sense of discovery is still there. Even if I have yet to complete it as I want (red and then...) I see the game could be 'easily' expanded...meaning new 'story events' and such...and I really hope the dev will consider it for the actual app or a sequel or something like that.
Somebody got the blue ending ? I got there but all three planets were occupied by the enemy and I had no cutscenes.
I'm not sure BUT.... Spoiler Judging from the green ending and some text from aliens...maybe you need to Death Seed their home planet? And possibily terraforming it later? Just an idea.
Just reached from red ending to green ending but the cutscenes pretty the same with the path to only green ending alone..perhaps red to blue to green ending?? Ok, blue ending only opened when enemy spotted. Hmm... maybe related to abilities I think (need to read carefully what exactly red ending needed to reach true ending).
Red to green ending requires exploding the star with death seed at green marker then using wormhole tech to enter the resulting blackhole
People really need to start taking advantage of covering up their spoilers. I've been playing this for about a week and still haven't beat it. Id like my ending to not be ruined.
OK, so I've done... Green Red -> Green Blue Just wondering if there is anything else to be done? Maybe Red -> Blue is different or there is something else you can do at Green without going to Red first? Loving this game...finished Red->Green with 2 fuel, barely any hull and having to scrap tech to build other tech. Finished Blue with a godly awesome tree ship that I could have just puttered around the galaxy with forever. Also, not really sure why you'd terraform a planet. Yeah, you can go down and get O2 and whatnot, but the haul from that hardly makes up for the Omega it costs. Anyone have other ideas about that?

I've had a hard time all along keeping my iron reserves up. More so since the update. Even in the first few jumps, I always have to stop for fuel, and then I might be able to mine a rocky planet. It's just... So many of the rocky planets give me no iron at all! As a suggestion, I'd like to see a "second resource" for repairing the hull, like Hydrogen/Helium are for fuel. Oxygen already has two options: Mine for some, or visit a garden planet. It seems like Iron is just too... "overloaded" as a resource. Especially now that it seems the earlier systems have gotten more dangerous than they were. Every other element just... Sits there, doing nothing for you except waiting. Before the update I was routinely getting near the green beacon before starting to encounter *real* trouble. Now I can barely seem to make 6-7 jumps before completely running out of something. I'll start trying the "always probe/mine at 10", and see if I get further. But... Every single time I've gone above 7, the equipment breaks (see my problems with getting iron). Maybe I've just had a string (10+ games) of really bad luck.
hi all ok i'm really stuck I just got smashed by the aliens i have no iron to conduct repairs without repairs i cant reach any more systems only way to get Iron is to cannibalize my drill but how do i rebuild it without being able to drill for more ?? if anyone has any ideas i'd be very grateful thanks FBJ
Super easy... look for screen with the pause icon, click and choose the Give Up, it will popped up another options, then choose Confirm. And Done!! Look for your Score awhile and then click the Quit option to restart the game...Wala!! You have done a good job!! (Just kidding...)
