please answer this, I love these type of games, Choose your own adventure Different playthroughs everytime Multiple endings. Now here is my problem there are choices that you have to make in the game and here is a example Do you give the school a dollar, yes or no? you choose yes the school rewards you with experience, however could I get the same question again and answer yes and get a diffrent outcome or is the the answer always the same??
In the space events you find, the answer is always the same, more or less. There are events which have several possible answers and all do something which can benefit or affect you. There's other times when you have 2 possible answers, A and B, and you know the correct answer is A, but since you are carrying a special element X, suddenly you get a new option C which involves using your element C in the event. Therefore, you might know the correct answer to an event, but you might be surprised and tempted with a new possible answer The last part doesn't sound as life is awesome, but as "here you have a French version without spelling mistakes and of excellent quality", right? (This is not the language in Out There, it's easier )
Another solid run! I had more tech installed but had to dismantle it to survive my final few systems getting back to green from red. I have to say the random events that transfer you halfway across the map are awful and can kill an otherwise successful run. In response to a few posts-crystal ship isn't very good you need more space to build tech; no the game doesn't really change based off decisions like mass effect (though that would make for a very cool update)
I just ended my best run yet, by destroying my interplanetary reactor, not realizing I had lost the tech to rebuilt it. Man that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I know many hardcore peoples will disagree with me but a 'you are about to destroy something you can't rebuild' doesn't seem like a bad idea to me at this point. Bad enough that random bad luck can get me... After hours of playing 5 seconds of inattention strands me on a planet.. Sigh.
Just hit Red for the first time. Spoiler Lost all my omega when the red event spawned . Trying to decide between Green and Blue now. Definitely one of the best games I've played in 2014! PS: Here's a selfie of my ship http://imgur.com/tUIGZI7
WOAH! What a beast!!! If you pay a bit of attention and do not Spoiler meet too many enemy planets you basically can explore the galaxy at will. How is the double engine bonus? How much fuel for the more distant star with the enhanced radius? One H ? Nice!!!
Thanks! Pitta, TheFrost and Laenor, you make my day! I haven't launched the game because i have a lot of work these days, but i've bought it, and now as i know it's translated, it will be easier. Great news, and another good reason for buying it. I'll try it this night.
Right ! If you're not a native french speaker, congratulations, your college courses were not taken in vain
Amazing ship! As big as the telescope range, its the same. And the second depends on the ship and its power. Your welcome! Fire it up and get immersed in the universe I think that the almost lack of tutorials gives it even more charm. You learn something from each trip, making the replayability factor really big and the one more time factor even more dominant. Keep you focus at all times. This one is quite demanding. I think he (mostly me ) prefers the developer to make new content rather than changing the vision of his game to adapt to those who cant adapt. I prefer new content any day of the week.
The TouchArcade Game of the Week poll is live and Out There is on that list, so go vote for it P) and show your love for this game... http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=220594
Both can perfectly coexist For example, the "easy mode" could simply grant an across the board +1 to the stats of all ships, making things easier but still hard without having to change anything to the engine. Not all "easy mode" require changing the vision of the game
No contest, I love card games and like card city night but out there is an amazing game and gets my vote.
About destroying devices & technology : Agreed, there really need to be a way to know whether you can rebuild a device or not when you destroy something. Like, say, an indicator that says "Technology unknown" next to the device
I'd put a red circle in one of the corners, something like a notification. Now you can know by clicking an empty space and checking what you can build, but it's quite tedious. (Btw, French lessons were useful, my native language is Spanish )
Regarding the Ship Layouts & Ship List : Spoiler I believe the complete ship list to be : - "Human Ship" (3/2/1 - 13 storage, brick form) - "Frozen Rock" (3?/3?/2? - 15? storage, brick form) - "Spinning top" (3/3/1 - 17 storage, crosshair form) - "World Ship" (1/7/1 - 20 storage, circle form) - "Bird Ship" (5/5/1 - 10 storage, cross form) - "Manta Ship" (3/5/1 - 16 storage, U form) - "Enemy Ship" (1/4/1 - 18 storage, brick form) Anything that I missed ? If anyone also can confirm the "?" values, I wrote these from memory without having access to the ship, so they are anything but certain Of course, the best final ship is the "world ship", provided that you can improve its engines & protection... otherwise, eww, you'll suffer.
Not sure if this was already reported but in the end of game stats, Stars Destroyed is switched with Planets Terraformed. In my last game I terraformed 2 planets and destroyed no stars, but the end game says I destroyed 2 stars and terraformed none. #
