Thank you all for your kind words, and to be honest, I don't think I'll ever get a ship with so much tech again. Too much exploring and a bit of luck was involved into proces, not to mention my nerves that wrecked for last few technology's resources for which I had to backtrack a lot and constantly prioritize what is more important - iron, fuel, omega or 3rd party elements that I need to build/repair other tech.Solar Sails and Tau drive broke like crazy on the way, I'm amazed that I finished game with every system operational. In the middle of walktrough , I was critically low on fuel and even with interferometer there wasn't any systems in vicinity that had gas giants ( my ultraprobe was destroyed at that time ).I took a chance and jumped into random system and got event that refueled me completely, if that's not sheer luck don't know what is... I also forgot interplanetary drive and space folder technology , so if any of those 2 were destroyed on the way, game over. By the end of that game, as my ship got crowded with fancy technology, I didn't have any more room for fuel, oxygen and elements needed for tech repairs. There was probably a distinct possibility to explore more planets before ending game, but I was too afraid of system malfunctions to keep on going ( and I'm positive that wouldn't have ended well )
This game is amazingly good ! I played it all weekend and finally got to one of the endings. Accumulated a score of 43 000. I believe it was the ending with the Spoiler Voerke? green ending? Anyone that has completed all 3 endings, can someone tell me if they are lengthier? any details without spoiling the endings. Thanks !
Yes, I agree. Devs don't change a thing. I really hope they add more content. The difficulty and pure challenge is what has made this game great. This is the mobile GOTY imho.
We could keep that and skip the tutorial button and new game button (if there isn't a game there to continue). Put the tutorial button on the main page.
Lol even me knew about this and I did not play much Sometimes ship you find come with a blue combination
Managed to get to the green planet. Phew. Great read ! I was on the edge (I barely made it there, only had 2 fuel left when I arrived) Now I need to manage the other endings Small tip Always dismantle your drill and gaz probe after using them so you can get more room for other important modules It's a hard game indeed you can easily lose some very very important technology and it's hard, if not impossible to recover them (in my game I had no drill at the end for the last 10 planets, that made it very hard By chance I had a resistant ship
Since I finally reach the green ending (in fact, I still have the resources to go further), I consider myself in the elite rank now (kidding of course). I wrote a few pages back: As for the ship, get a bigger ship, with a lot of squares in it, i.e., is more important than a small ship filled with nice tech. (you know, you cannot ask too much, chance is everything here). Some time, finding an abandoned ship helps to prolong your game. If you current ship is low on resources to keep going, consider jumping ship since the new one is always full of fuel, O and hull. On the other hand, you may wish to scrap every piece equipment and transfer them to your ship in case you do not find the new ship interesting. There are three factors of each ship which is corresponding to 3 resources you need to supply. For me, environment is the least of my concern, and the resistant is the most. Since you can build yourself a fridge for sleeping so O is the least consuming resource needed. Your not-yet augmented ship hull is made of paper as in one game, due to an event, my poor ship got blown apart by the very first gas giant in the very first system I visit...Apparently, if your ship is at high resistant, loss due to first enemy encounter seems to be less. Make sure you check the resources needed to maintain your equipment, and discard those may not be needed to free up space, equipment do break down and often.
I havent been this addicted to a game in ages. SUPER frustrating when you have a run that starts out good and then luck kicks you at every turn. There was one I must have stopped at alien planets like 10 times and didnt get any omega. Or when every ship beacon you find has an old jalopy of a ship
I feel like I'm the only one who's gotten the Spoiler Ice Ship. Which is also the only ship I've found through my many playthroughs. I've found it way more times than I can count
Is that the one that is all asymmetric crystal? I am particularly happy with the playthrough from the screenshot below. It isn't a great score, but I made it almost to the end with the original ship. I lost my telescope to an accident early on and never got the tech again, and lost all my omega and my space folder and tau device tech on my first enemy encounter, so I was definitely hampered. I knew I needed the tau towards the end so I just couldn't drop my ship with it to try a new one and hope I got the tech again. Somehow I just kept on finding a way to survive. Until I didn't, of course, but I think 50+ systems is pretty good with those challenges.
I think you get an achievement for acquiring that crystal ship. Even if you decide not to use a new ship that you come across, you can switch to it and use it's maxed resources to get gas and Fe until it's low and get back to your other ship and transfer it all over. I would like to see the words that you learn from aliens colored slightly differently from the regular text so that it's easier to scan. What exactly is the point of the "last chances used"? Can't you only ever get one? When I run out of fuel, I always get a game over. Is there a chance that you can keep continuing or something?
There is a chance of receiving divine salvation from the RNG. (That's not what it's called in-game, it's just another event that basically saves you from dying.) I have ended a game with Last Chances Used: 2... Don't think I've had 3.
