Watched Sanuku's video and the game looks amazing. One question though: how's the in-game saving system? Can I save anywhere? My game times usually get interrupted by phone calls, my children crying, etc. Thanks.
PocketGamer posted a video of Harry playing: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Looks absolutely stunning. And its an endless rogue-lite-like. And it has an ending it seems and a story. Im completely sold on this one.
What is their definition of high replay value I wonder. 3 endings isn't high so I'm assuming there are so many more paths available than this.
If you die, the whole game changes. Whenever you quit and come back later the whole game changes again
Thanks, this is what I needed. Instabuy tonight! LOL!!! Well, 3 endings along with "300+ handwritten game book adventures with different choices" seems a good replay value. There are 3 endings, but I guess there are many ways to get there. Btw, I guess 3 endings means 3 "get to the end of the game" endings, not when you die because you run out of resources.
There's no way a high profile release in 2014 isn't full screen on the iPhone 5 or retina enabled. So without having played the game I can confidently reply, yes to all.
I am watching the Pocket Gamer First Play video and I am getting a very strong "Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space" feeling. It seems to have added a bit with the fuel/oxygen/hull mechanic but it certainly has that same exploration feel.
I bought a new release the other day that wasn't retina on iPad (but it was on iPhone). Well, the odd thing here and there was retina on iPad, and the menu was, but not everything was. I can't remember what game it was though. If this is retina on iPhone and iPad, and is full screen on iPhone 5S, how do I decide which one to play it on!!!
The genius behind King of Dragon Pass did some analysis on replay value through number of scenes. KODP keeps you busy for a few months at least. Out There seems like it has a little less content at launch, but probably enough for a while.
