No same ID it's showing 3.99 and then buy now if I click it. I just want to play it on the go since I can't take the ipad with me everywhere.
I gave up and just bought it and it had an alert saying I already bought it and then let me dl it. Friggin weird.
Is the Apple ID that it asks you to sign in with when you click "buy now" the same as the one on your receipt for Out There? I don't think it's possible to buy the same thing twice on the App Store (ignoring consumable IAP). Whenever I've tried, I've got a message along the lines on "you've already bought this, tap OK to download for free". If you do manage to pay for the same thing twice with the same Apple ID, I'm 100% sure you will get a refund from Apple.
99% sure it will just say you already own it and you can download for free if you press buy and put your password. You might wanna try closing AppStore from fast switching first and load it up again and/or check the updates -> purchased tab first. Buying again won't charge you if it's same account though.
So far I went to red, blue and green end. Went to red first, it ask me to go to green. I wen to blue, nothing happens with only showing 3 enemy occupied plenties. Went to green afterwards, end. No different with going to green first.
NOOOOO! I was so far and I didn't have enough fuel to mine the star I needed to get more fuel and get off! I love this game so much! Buy it if you don't have it already. I think if you lose fuel on a space station or ship you should not automatically lose the game!
It is different if you do some things and use technology you got there. I did manage to put a lot of technology into biggest ship and got to the "real end" today. My advices : - don't be afraid to mine and probe in first few sectors, game tends to be very generous with giving even rarer resources at the beginning - try to explore as many planets as you can, but be vary of your ship performance ( always have at least 2 stocked fuel sources and one iron source for fast repairs ) - plan upgrades ahead so you can use full synergy and bonuses of tech in ship - never ever use black holes or other means of traveling randomly at the start of game, you will get stranded as chances are high your space folder doesn't have much range for jumping between systems - try to get ultraprobe and space folder upgrades early on, you can't survive without them later on - interferometer is most useful scanning tool, it WILL save you many times later on, try to have it build ASAP ; geo scan isn't really necessary in later stages of the game; life seed also isn't necessary tech and it wastes omega - try to have at least one omega if you pilot bigger ship - later on in the game, you might find yourself overconfident with your new big ship which usually ends bad ; try to have a "bouncing point" in space, aka safe space. What I usually do is, when I find another ship, I use one of them as a cargo space for spare materials while I explore with other one nearby system; all materials put in disabled ship will stay there no matter how far you go, thus serving as a resource stash to build new techs when acquired. Will update post with more advices later on.
I just got to the red spot today, but unfortunately got killed before getting to green. My guess is Spoiler that when you get to red and are told about the death seed and the wormhole generator technologies, you have to create those technologies in your ship and then get to the green spot and talk to the aliens there, right? Therefore, the endings this game has are Spoiler 1. If you go directly to green, the easiest ending. --> NORMAL DIFFICULTY. 2. Go to red, create technologies dark seed and wormhole, and go back to green. --> EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. 3. Blue ending? I don't know if that's an ending or not, but from my gameplays I assume that if you have to destroy the enemy's planets, you'll need the dark seed technology and omega to destroy their planet(s). Maybe all the endings are in the green star, but you get alternative endings if you do what you're told in the red star and/or the blue star. Anyone can confirm this? Anyway, this is a fantastic game and your suggestions towards gameplay are great, but you also need a lot of luck. After playing more than 20 times, this last run (when I got to the red star) was fantastic because I found a ship with a technology which allowed me to jump 4-5 stars at a cost of 18-20 fuel units per jump. In fact, I made a bad decision and was sent to the beginning mid-game, and was able of getting to the red star, so go imagine the mega-ship I had found... I really, really hope that future updates increase the amount of random events which you can get into, because I'm starting to learn many of them and all the options they have (...I have caramel for many years, not only a month... ).
I know but the game is quite long and extremely random. Plus there aren't that many different random encounters, it becomes a bit repetitive to have to go through so many menus to just get basic resources. Spoiler Also the first time you meet the hostile aliens it is ridiculous, you can end up stranded: I lost my upgraded warp folder, engine and resources needed to recreate them. As a result I was stranded next to the green and red endings.i am all for randomness but this game does not try to adjust the challenge so you may be able to finish in 10 games if you know what you are doing. I even got a game where I did not find a breathable atmosphere at the beginning after visiting so many sectors to get some O2. I think the game should adjust the content to spread a bit more the resources and techs, at the moment, you need too much luck to get started.
I finally got what I believe to be all of the endings. Here are the ways to get each, I tried to be vague but it's important to know these steps: Spoiler -green is the easiest and fastest ending -blue is an ending if you use the death seed on their star, not sure if you have to go to red first for the tech but I did -the "true" ending is going to red, then returning to green mad NOT talking to them (will give you the green ending and wasted all that time) Rather, use the death seed on the star at green and use the wormhole generator on the fresh black hole you created.
You got me thinking there ( big spoilers ahead ): Spoiler GREEN --- definetly bad ending BLUE ENDING - destroying aggressive race , I guess you need same tech you acquire for red ? Well maybe not wormhole generator , don't see point in jumping if whole system goes supernova or something like that. RED - GREEN ENDING - "real ending" ? After acquiring death seed and wormhole generator, go back to green , !!!! DON'T TALK WITH ARCHITECTS !!! , just use death seed on main star there and once it turns into wormhole jump into it to materialize back into Milky Way RED - BLUE - GREEN - another possible ending ? After you acquire death seed from red ( or on the way ) aggressive race can be destroyed, but will that trigger automatic ending sequence ? If not, you can continue to red dot ending ; Most aliens talks about oppression and how they fear architects, I'm interested if there is actually a way to destroy both them and aggressive race in same run ? Maybe you'll get another sequence when talking to architects after destroying aggressive race ? ( although I think that won't make any difference )
Thanks for the tips! this game has a great future in my phone. Btw, v1.01 update is live, "minor bug fixes". Nice ideas there. I'll go for the normal endings first, and then I'll try what you say to see if it takes me somewhere "out there"
