One more question for hondune. In the level editor mode will we have as much space and props that we want or will we be limited ?
both are limited, but both are pretty generous I think... the reasons for the limitations are to try and prevent creating levels that completely strain the physics (although if you try hard enough you can do it), and also to make sure the entire level will fit in a single image when it is exported. When you are in the editor you can see a red box (if you zoom out enough) that shows the limits of the scene area, and there is a progress bar on the top of the scene that shows how complex your scene is (max it out, and you can't add any more props or walls). For example the Touch Arcade level I created had a crate for every green pixel in the Touch Arcade logo, along with several canons and rockets, and other objects for support... and it didn't quite max out the level complexity meter. It's still an iPhone after all, so eventually you get slowdown
Me and shawdoboy have to know! This app is going to be amazing and I can't wait. Please give us an update when you know anything! Also I was wondering if you could post more screens plz.
Everything Really. It looks good, it looks like fun, there's going to be updates, and there's a level editor and sharing of levels. What's not to like?
no news yet from Apple... as soon as we get an update, we'll post here. I'm hoping for an approval by this weekend, but by now we all know that the approval process is pretty unpredictable the good news is that we'll have some new scenes for players to download on launch day... of course we'll post them here, and on our blog.
Ahhhh I guess we will just have to wait longer. Is there anything else u want to tell us about the game???
here is another scene in the "logo inspired" set it's based on our Hondune Games logo. I'll post this scene for everyone when the game releases as well.
Cool I can't wait till the release so we can start sharing scenes!!! Tell me more about the game dev.
