I was about to post. " You should make it so you can use your photo Libary" Then I already saw that was there. I was like woah. I'm so getting this.
man, who knew I'd be spending all my $$$ as an adult, just as in my youth, on damn video games I blame it on good marketers like Hondune
LOOKS GODLY!! I will buy at launch, it really looks like the awesomest thing ever! Can you customize the backgrounds tho? It would be cool to have an island themed level and then import a pic of an exploding volcano for the background
If you ask me, the game seems so great that I would be prepared to pay 10 bucks for it. I share your enthusiasm about the game but don't you think one dollar is a bit of a low price to ask for a great game like that!?
Thanks for the replies everyone! Yes, the bigger you make the character, the heavier they are... but in some scenes a smaller character is more advantageous. There are "instant death" walls (red ones) in some levels, and squeezing through tight spaces is easier with smaller characters, while in other levels a bigger character is a larger target Custom backgrounds would be cool, but it causes a problem when you go to share the level with other people, because you'd need to send the background too, and somehow sync that all up. Characters are OK because the face textures are small enough that I can include them right in the exported character image file, but scene backgrounds need to be too high-res for that. However, we can easily add more backgrounds to choose from in updates to the game (that was our plan all along). We will definitely be looking to the players to suggest what kinds of new props, backgrounds, etc. that they want! I hope everyone that's excited for the game will make some cool scenes and share them with us once the game is released!
Looks awesome - really packed & really polished! Nice one! There's one aspect I don't get: this game goes for reality (physics-wise, anyway!) but the body holds together *really* well. Like, too well. Imho, the head would probably disconnect pretty early, leaving the rest of the body to the mercy of the scene! Can't we have the torso and/or limbs continue on until they lose momentum, like in N? (I'm not a psychopath. Really. If you call me one, I'll come find you! )
here is a quick "Touch Arcade" level I created today with the in-game editor: before ---> after it taxes out the physics in the game pretty good, stacking that many boxes when the game is released I'll post the exported image of this scene for everyone here on the forums
Aww... too bad about the custom backgrounds, but oh well. Knowing the excellent support Iphone apps have there is no doubt you all will update them regularly I already love this game. Nice. I WANT NOW!!!! GAH >_< ...as I fail my AP Lit class because I play too many games. Oh, and that toucharcade level looks amazing.
This game looks awesome, just wondered if it has been approved by the appstore and when it will be out?
