I feel the knight being the strongest. Style 3 on the second skill can easily clear 2/3 of enemies in a room within a few seconds on Epic difficulty. At first, I felt that he is the weakest character, but after getting used to the charged attack timing and the use of shield, he became the most stable character for Epic runs for me. The most enjoyable for me, however, will be Oli. It’s really up to the RNG if I can get the headset item, an item that allows minions to benefit from equipped item as well, but she is the only character that can cause chaos as shown on attached images.
The archer IMHO is by far the easiest char. But I haven’t tried the knight. I like the engineer the most ...
I just tried hard for the first time and won! I really like the Peddler. He's my absolute favorite. I also got an incredible set of items so that helped a lot. My rank right now: 1) Peddler 2) Archer 3) Warrior

The new hero is great. Almost won on my first try but I had good items so it was partial luck. I think she's quite powerful but it's hard to adjust to her speed. She's just a lot slower than other heroes minus the knight. I got beat up by the fast bosses - particularly China and the final boss. They attack too fast and her dodge teleport is great but there's a slight delay that got me wrecked multiple times. I also just bought the lightning skill but it's another hard to master skill. It makes you stand still to use it and enemies in general are just going to wail on you when you do that. Lightning probably wasn't a good purchase, aside from the chain lightning main attack.
Each element has different effect when set on secondary. Fire: Same as the fire elf Ice: Same as the ice elf Lightening: Longer stun from attacks (not the concussion from the boxing grove/missile)
How do you use the gem machine? I miss 2 blue gems (middle) to buy the new character, have around 200 white gems (left) and 5 red gems (right) Ideally i would like to convert white to blue, but when i press on the machine blue gem option i don’t understand what will convert to what.
I understand it is confusing, but conversion from the white gem to other gems is done via IAP menu. Gem machine converts blue and red gems into white gems for a random amount within a range depending on the amount of blue/red gems used.
Huge update out! Tons of stuff including new hero, skins, npc, power ups, level, and LAN CO-OP. Co op sounds awesome but I won't have anyone to play with. Ah well, I enjoy the single player anyways. I tried out the new hero and she seems super fun. A gunslinger with ammo who reloads when you roll. I love her style! The skins are a cool cosmetic addition and I found out you can view them by selecting the skin then hitting try out. Oli skin can be bought with gems and the rest are paid.
I got to play a few hours and the new update is stellar. The new gunslinger girl is awesome! Might be my second favorite character. Her battle style is so fast paced and hectic, and her skills let you switch out to different weapon types. Chilly Room outdid themselves with her design in particular if you compare her to the other heroes. This game is probably the best "brawler" on mobile with the ability to play completely different play styles from melee to mech to shooter etc. There's some new power ups at the base that aren't explained fully so I'm still trying to figure that out. There's new items and there's tons of good ones, and now the hidden room bosses can drop really nice rare items. There's challenge rooms that let you win rare items if you do some difficult challenge for ten battles. AND there's another difficulty mode for those that have beaten the others. It's a bit too hard for me atm. You can unlock some skins through achievements but unfortunately I can't figure out what they are. I beat the game multiple times with the previous hardest difficulty and no new skins for me. This game has tons of content and I love it. I think Chilly Room should keep expanding this game instead of working on a new game at this time. The skins should add a way to generate some money as well.
