Equipments which you find in chests and stores in the dungeon are reset after each run, so there doesn’t seem to be equipment gacha system as well. About the club membership, my guess is it’s a permanent 30% discount for drinks you can purchase from the madam, which is a buff potion that can be purchased with an in game currency. I love the way the gameplay feels. At least with the main girl, all her attacks have heft and feel really great. I haven't been this hooked on a new game in a while. I might have to spend money to get some more characters later. I admit, I didn't really like Soul Knight, maybe because the "bullet hell" part is not my favorite genre. This game however, is right up my alley. If I had one complaint, it's that I can't dodge up or down. It seems I can only dodge left or right. I got wrecked by the first boss I met because the boss combos forward. Therefore, dodging didn't really help, I just leapt in the same path of his attack. I guess in those cases the only thing you can do is run away. And what are the buttons in the options? There's some kind of screen and then one says TXAA? Ginji, the swordsman, is unlocked using white gems(in game currency). I was able to get enough white gems after 5 failed runs. Just do not forget to collect achievement reward from the statue placed in the room south of the starting room. VIP pass was, while the name is confusing, a one time purchase IAP that gives 30% discount for buff drinks(see attached). Those are temporary buffs for one run that cost gems and ingredients (which may be rare in some cases). So if you fail a run and don't get anywhere, all those resources are kind of wasted. Even if you get the discount, you still need to grind items to use it. Since they aren't a permanent buff, I feel less inclined to use them because of how much you need to make a drink.
