So if you want to keep your promises this time around, you got 23 days left! Anyway that's realistic?
Sadly, its obvious that Ossian will not release TSS this year.Game has been anounced more than a year ago and apart from a few screenshots and loads of promises we didnt get anything since then.Dont want to sound like a whiny bitch, but you just dont do that.At least if TSS is delayed again say it, Ossian. Its not like we're going to hunt you down for delaying it.
The last time we've heard anything from these guys, was October 15... This game is beginning to sound a lot like Forgotten Memories, all hype... Pushed back time and time again, empty words. Vaporware, pretty much. If I'm wrong, I'll gladly eat some crow.
I wish it didn't seem so much the case. I am/was especially looking forward to it as it is a western RPG that doesn't seem to be set in a traditional medieval high fantasy world... Although who knows, they could suddenly come forward with a trailer and an announcement that the game has been submitted for all we know!
Sadly I'm starting to get the same feeling, all hype and PR. But if shows within the next 23 day I'll be buying this game for sure and take everything I just said back. To Ossian: please give us something here, we are starting to loose hope as well as faith, some of us might even believe you can't deliver the goods?
Oh, I've little doubt they will deliver (though it is always hard to know in what fashion), and that the project has not been abandoned. I'd gladly wait another year if it makes for a considerably more polished experience. And this game has topped my wish list for a long, long time now (currently together with Prevail), all the way back since about the same time that Aralon was announced, so my willingness to wait has nothing to do with lack of interest
Same here, i'd gladly wait IF they show some sort of support/update or maybe even a "hello, this game is not abandoned...yet". But for now, for me it's 80% vaporware until they say something
Thanks juv3nal. To quote from the Ossian forum: This makes a lot of sense to me. The original screenshots look kind of primitive now, compared to what we've seen recently from Unity and Unreal engine games. I can easily understand why Ossian would not want to share assets until they have been brought up to date. This, by the way, is not the only high-profile RPG that we haven't heard from in a while that is still very much in development. And no, I can't say anything about that one .
I dont even remember how the first screenshots looked like! I know I know, I could just go find them, they are not that hard to find! But I'm just pointing out, that it's so long time ago we got anything from Ossian that I, for one, don't remember them. I do understand the wish only to show finished screenshots, believe me, I understand perfectly, but don't tell me that after a year of development they don't have ANY area that done, it doesn't even have to bee an area, it could be a teaser screen of a character, a tree, a house, a mount (if any), a weapon, or anything at all, mostly for the purpos of holding us fans "to the fire" so to speak. Ps. I'm not angry or anything, but mearly making a point
Do to a post on the ossians own forum I'll take everything I said back. I'm sorry for what may have happened and to whom it may have happened to. Looking forward this game.
I wonder how they are going to recoup a profit out of all the months of daily work on this through the app store.
This game had better be worth it. Hope it comes out in time for Christmas. I have been looking forward to it since it was announced and I've played Aralon 3 times already.
4 days left! I feel a game being pushed back. But then again, I've been surprised before!! How is development going? Any news?
4 days until the 23 December, and this years fall is over, they said the game would be released this fal. I guess they not going to Make that deadline. But as I said, they could surprise us all, maybe they have already submitted the game?
At one point I was way excited for this game. I almost forgot about it until I came across this thread again...
Tisk Tisk! Hey Ossian! I noticed you missed the deadline again, oh, and thanks for the heads up...oh wait, what am I talking about? I think I'm confusing myself here. TSS was never meant to be an actual game, it was just a publicity stunt for the studio. That's it! Well, looks like it worked. Even bad publicity is still publicity. Am I right?
