That is REALLY great news! And I'm so exited, that me stomig hurts just be thinking about it I wonder, I just got a iPad 2 for my birthday last week, and started to wonder if the shadow sun would run on such a device? Or if it's an iPhone only game, wich is all right by me cuz I just got an iPhone 4 as well (she is so sweet that wife of mine), but I just wondered!
do you think we could have anything to sate our salivation? it's been a very long time with no response besides "something's coming soon". I'm reasonably sure that even a couple of screenies would do some good in drawing further interest to this game and at the same time keeping us who've waited at bay. Come on, we're not asking a lot. Just a pic or 2, we need a fix.
How about finally sharing a new screen, render, anything new of the game? A lot of us, have had this on our radar for the better part of a yr... We've gotten not a single shred of anything decent from your studio - save for the cryptic post. I understand you'd like to probably knock all of our collective socks off, in one surprisingly bada$$ knockout punch. Doth I protest too much? Come on, help us out here Ossian.
We're putting together a video. Personally, I think we could probably have done a more consistent job of presenting information on the game over the last year; but on the other hand, that takes time which is better spent actually developing, and can be counterproductive when there isn't a firm release date to present (see Mysteries of Westgate). Rest assured we're getting close now. You'd better make sure you're wearing at least two pairs of socks from here on in. And another pair of pants.

I understand the impatiens! I feel like I have waited for this game for ever, and this game is the only game of its kind on the app store, if you want anything like it you are forced to use pc, Xbox or ps3, so from an iOS gamers perspective, I understand the impatiens. I think I'm trying to say, don't be so hard on people the are excited about this game in peticular, it's one of a kind after all. It's the iOS response to mass effect 3 (just without the flying in space and the futuristic automatic weaponry) Well that's my guess anyway, I guess we will see whene the trailer hits toucharcade, one can hope it reveals a bit of gameplay rather then just beautiful rendered grafics.
While you're waiting... Why not give Aralon: Sword and Shadow a try while you're waiting. That is a phenomenal game, and, if the early screens of The Shadow Sun are anything to go by, a similar playing game to this one. Aralon is a pretty huge game, it should keep you pleasantly busy for a while if you give it a chance.
