Ossian, Could you guys at least give us one screen, that shows the progress you guys are making? Juicy high res, universal retina goodness? We're just wanting another taste to see what's cooking.
Wow, haven't heard anything from this game for a long time. There hasn't been any new media for months. This has been in development for so long, I have some pretty high expectations for this. Hopefully we won't be disappointed, when this finally does come out, or some iOS footage at least.
It's been cooking in the kitchen, for quite some time. This game, hopefully lives up to the massive expectations of a deep, engaging story - alongside excellent and outstanding visuals. They could at least offer us some new tidbits, a teaser, anything?!?
We're currently making improvements to our visuals (new shaders, area lighting), which is why we don't have any new media to show as of yet. We should have some soon. The game is looking considerably better than our screenshots from the end of last year indicate. As Alan mentioned here, TSS is a monster in terms of art assets, comparable to high budget PC or console RPG titles.
I'm DEFINITELY liking the sound of that! Can't wait to see some new screenshots with all the new bells and whistles you've been adding in!:-D On a side note, can you please tell me if there is going to be a first person perspective option as well, or will it only be third? Thanks!
Nice! I'm stoked to see what TSS endeavors to accomplish. I expect nothing but the best from your team of talented veterans. Much luck, and keep up the fine work Hopefully, soon, well get to see something? *fingers crossed*
I'm just hoping that the dialogue and gameplay are on par with PC RPGs, regardless of the art asset levels. After the gameplay disappointment (but visual excitement) that was Aralon, I realize that graphics are the lowest of my priorities.
Thanks for the update Alazander. Hopefully this turns out to be the best RPG on the idevice both graphics and gameplay wise (but mostly gameplay). +1
Third-person only. We could potentially add a first-person perspective for exploration, but it wouldn't work for combat so I'm not sure I see the benefits.
That depends on what RPGs we're talking about. If you're referring to Oblivion, at least as far as the dialogue is concerned, I'll take it as a grievous insult. Seriously, gameplay and narrative quality are always highest on my list of priorities. Of course, what we want to do for this project is create a game that both looks and plays great.
I believe we are incorporating some features from the latest Unity updates. I couldn't tell you what exactly.
