Reminds me a lot of Flow on the PS3... Not in a bad way either - I liked Flow, although control could sometimes be pretty wonky....
This is a really great game. At first I thought it might be too simple even for me, someone who generally buys this sort of game without a second thought. I was surprised after playing for a while how much strategy can be coaxed from such a basic concept. I didn't realize from the videos that each propulsion burst actually ejects motes and makes you smaller. These motes can be used in a number of ways, from bouncing them off walls back into you, to deflecting other motes away from you. I really appreciate the variety of game modes and objectives as well. I've always loved my iPad, but between this, Samurai, and Monkey Island 2, I'm finally realizing how much I love this damn thing.
