OS 4.0 for iPhone and iPod Touch-??

    is it possible to buy an iphone and not get service, like just use it with wifi?

    Actually, the software is available on June 21st, but the phone itself is released on June 24th.

    Not in the US -- the list price is subsidized by the phone carrier.

    Once your contract is over, though, you can cancel the service and use the iPhone like an iPod Touch. That's not going to help you right now, though.

    i thought i could just buy one, and then not activate a service and use it as an ipod touch?

    Anyone know if Multitasking will be supported on the 3rd gen iPod's I thought I read a source a little bit ago saying it was but can't locate it anymore

    U can get an iPhone 4 and stick another AT&T SIM card in then use it like an iTouch, according to apple's website! YAY!!!

    Ok, I have a question. Are we getting the ability to make folders? I thought we were, but I haven't heard that much about it.
