You're not listening. A release date is set. The game is with iTunes and awaits the release date. Of course, I have just pushed us closer to 1000 posts.
Yes, he did... So, hrm. A release date has been set. Anyone want to start a pool on which day it will arrive? My bet is on May... 11th.
In the way of a primer I'm really tied up with other stuff and just in case the game appears on the store on Wednesday, I'd like to have some background stuff for all of you posted here. Please see posts #587, 604, 682, 685 and 704, which all have a bit of relevant info. Do not forget to turn your device off and then back on after downloading the game! This will obviate any potential memory conflicts. P.S. At some point, expect me to begin plugging my own game, which should be out in the fall, 2 players, card driven, sync and async are both planned. More later.
Actually Apple is starting to fail apps that have something like that in the app description. It's up to the programmers to make sure they don't use too much memory...
Kyle Pool jealous of better game? no Developer make jokes about other games why you do that? I Really like the Game but i dont Like Chillingo.
Get out of it movement. Kyle didn't make a joke. He's stating a fact, and he's stating it as a developer so good on him. I like both games, but I'm also interested to know what Kyle said. Perhaps your lack of grammar has made you miss-interpret what Kyle said?
Even Shadow Era has had it's share of reviewer complaints over crashes and non-starts. It is very simply, the nature of the beast. Install. Either close all open apps or shut down and restart. Not a big deal. I typically have maybe 15-20 apps open. Yesterday, as soon as I started Sword & Sworcery (twice), it closed on me. Memory conflict. Can occur with any game. I'm only trying to obviate those situations where some download, try to start O2, crash and complain that the game sucks.
I'm just giving a friendly warning to the O2 dev since it was given as one of the reasons for a recent Shadow Era rejection. And for the Mac version I had to remove the text "or play online in your browser" But I'm waiting for O2 so long I can't breathe. (get it? O2? Oxygen?) I'll be the first in line to buy it, I enjoyed the original a lot.
