I don't think so...it's chillingo who sends it to apple, not the devs, and the last time we heard from the company, they said "ideally" they are "looking at" weeks, if not taking months. And this is all after much beta testing already. The only problem I heard was compatibility with some aspect of multiplayer. And there is zero promotion from the company that gets a share of orion 2's profits.
Don't have an example right now, but things like these happened over one year ago. Since then, everything became too serious. Mainly because of some gamers who bashed devs for joking around. Today, you should check the devs section. Sometimes, they still tease each other a bit. But it is very rare.

What the hell, half the posts in this thread are about Shadow Era, so of course as the Shadow Era dev I can come here to reply to comments about my terrible crappy game that nobody likes. You're just mad that the O2 dev has never even bothered to show his face here in this thread.
My memory could be off but no one said your game was crappy (at least not a lot of people) most have just said that they've tried it and although it's good, its just not their cup of tea. I do remember a lot of people talking about the update for Battle for Wesnoth though (not that it's a must, it already is a great game. But you know stuff to add fast app switching and stuff) And again, my math could be off, but I really doubt half the posts are about your game. And.....the dev has shown his face, so we do know he's reading the posts
Some of you guys should relax a bit.. and dont take every single word so damn serious. Shadow era sucks, orions too and tic tac toe aswell.. well as faar as ive encountered it devs are most of the time big fans of competitve products.. If you develope a fps you play fps and like fps. And im sure kyle will look into o2 the same way as most of the members in this thread.. So relax, enjoy some fun.. So where are the funny animal pictures?
In all fairness, he has responded a few times but apparently, this is something he is not entirely comfortable with. I do not think he should be penalized for that. Believe me, he wants the game released more than we do.
It bugs the hell out of me that Orions is completely absent from Chillingo's web site. It's like this game doesn't even exist to them, which has to be frustrating to Pavel, especially since from my own experiences talking to him, he doesn't entirely grasp english, which can't make it easy for him to interact with this largely English-speaking community. I know he means well and want's to provide the best possible game, his publisher just sucks and I don't think there's anything he can do about it.
They were the publisher for the first Orions on iOS and I assume More Games either signed a contract which entitled Chillingo to publish any follow up games/expansions OR More Games just went with the devil they know. Either way, the way Chillingo treats Orions is downright despicable. You'd think a publisher with Chillingo's size and recognition in the community would have the internal capability to recognize what a monster of a franchise they could have on their hands if they gave the damn game the attention and marketing it deserves instead of keeping a piece of awesome intellectual property closed up in a cupboard under the stairs and pretending it doesn't exist.
I guess cuz Kyle deigned to make a comment here that could be interpreted and insulting to Orions, despite the fact that he was making a joke and has made no secret of the fact that he's looking forward to O2 as much as the rest of us. As for Shadow Era itself, I LOVE it and will probably play it for a long, long time to come. Still the wait for O2 is really starting to get irritating.
I hope orions 2 will come out at least in may! As for shadow era, i just started playing it last night, and its awesome, i especially love the artwork :x
