Anyone reading my posts? I have written about Diablo bug for 2 times. You can also freeze your opponent using Blind every turn in presence of 2 Diablos. About bug list. Please - read my earlier posts here or just sent the link to Pavel - http://forums.toucharcade.com/search.php?do=finduser&u=81503 There are many reports (Apostate description, Salamander+Tentales bug, SoW bug), some of them are with screens. Also they forgot to mention that poison doesn't affect undead (so Slug's ability & Poison Storm doesn't affect them), etc. And there are divergence in Refresh/Blood Ritual/Healing Wind/Earth Chant/... effects descriptions. There are a bug with Enslave - probably there is a double bug. The description says that you need one free slot, but really you need two. But sometimes it works with 1 free slot. I don't know why and I don't see any regularity. Avatar bug. Cheating by editing inf-files. Etc, etc, etc... I'm sorry, but I don't want to list all the bugs again, it's not my work. English is not my mother-tongue, so it's hard for me to write all this staff. If the dev wants to make more money with this game, I think he might read this thread. It's just 5 mins a day. I think fixing the bugs and adding some really necessary features (like on-line players list, etc..) will make much more profit. If he doesn't want to make money, I don't understand for what purpose he released the game even in this buggy condition. And I don't understand what Chillingo did for the game. It seems like nothing. Well.. As I said earlier it's a great game, but it has no future with such attitude.
Diablo Definitely a Diablo problem. I just had two on board, cast a Blood Ritual (no big deal, just heal the Diablos, right?) and wound up with 40 fire when I had 24 before the cast. Wow.
On Tuesday, I'll post what I have and my proposed reply to Pavel. That will be last chance to report but I really think he has a pretty good idea of what needs to done already and is just trying to catch up on anything he may have missed. Game improvements can be our next agenda and this time, can someone else please pick up the mantle and ask for a list? I'll gladly contribute some ideas. My top wants: Notification of how many players are online and how many for duel, how many for draft and CONSTRUCTED DECK MP (of course, you will probably see a lot of the same kind of decks).
Contructed deck In beta, I made dozens of different decks to play with in Constructed mode. I made all creature decks, decks with as few creatures as possible, weak decks (just to see how well I could do with them), etc., etc. How many possible combinations are there? A gazillion gazillion? Ok, here's one I'm playing with now, just for kicks. It's called Ritual Dance. I am hoping mightily that we'll have a constructed MP mode to try it in someday. A fast kill deck. How do you get extended elements or more of one type? I'm stuck with 4 of one type. Solitude, Troll, Acidstorm, Tsunami Salamander, Berserker, Blademaster, Cerberus Fairy, Starfall, Lightning Bolt, Soul of Winds Centaur, Satyr, Spider, Empower Pure Heart, Magic Healer, Apostate, Hermit Banshee, Skeleton, Lich, Steal Life Goal is to attack really fast and overwhelm. If you don't win in the first 20 turns, it's over. It's a fun hand, but if I was looking to win 90% of my matches I'd go for... Acidstorm, Water Troll, Elemental, Ocean Lord Blood Ritual, Elemental, Diablo, Berserker Wings of Wisdom, Starfall (favorite aggressive spell in the game), Manticore, Healing Wind Dispercer (it's supposed to be spelled disperser, but wonderful unit all the same), Satyr, Spider, Force of Nature Pure Heart (easily the best buffing spell in the game), Chimera, Apostate, Rejuvenation Skeleton, Dark Druid, Chaos Vortex, Enslave
Good game Rasten (if you're reading). Unfortunately, it was incredibly one-sided because my hand was one of the best I've had in a duel game. You didn't really stand much of a chance considering I had Water Troll, Wings of Wisdom, Priest, Diablo, Dark Druid, Vortex, Enslave, and other great spells.
Bug Report to Developer If I do not hear further on bugs, this is what I will be sending to the developer tomorrow: ------------------------------- 1) Last pick for Death in Draft, sometimes player winds up stuck with only three cards, missing the last one, or four cards with duplicates of one of the cards chosen. 2) several instances reported of first player in draft starting with 19 elements vs. 2nd player at 25. When the 2nd player takes his turn, his elements are upped to 31. This could be due to players alternating picks but I think it has happened at other times and even in beta testing. 3) Hermit description should say "Kills opposing creatures if they are less than level 4." 4) Blademaster opposite Blademaster triggers a neverending loop and crash. 5) There are still rare reports of negative mana being shown. I was at 34, cast a Cure Wounds and my Avatar wound up with 514 life. Others have shown screen shots with over 100 life for Avatar. 8) Enslave must be changed to show it requires TWO free slots otherwise enslaved creature dies. 9) Diablo produces fire mana for every fire spell you cast. Some have noticed +5. I have noticed +2. This is not in the description. One user notes you can also freeze your opponent using Blind every turn in presence of 2 Diablos. Today I cast Blood Ritual with two Diablos. I had 24 fire mana before and 40 afterwards. Something is definitely wrong with how Diablo affects fire mana, unless this is put into the description. 10) Deck construct screen. I can't say this happens very often but I'm editing a deck and at the top where it says "CHOOSE A DECK" it also has the name of the deck "Ritual Dance" superimposed (the last deck I edited). There have a tremendous number of nerfing requests, which I'm sure happens with each release of the game. I guess you've seen some of them. Giant Spider is easily the most mentioned. I'll leave it that that and whatever you want to do or not do is fine.
Funny I have never played this game and I usually love card type games, this one must have slipped under my radar (I usually only check front page a few times a week). Obviously lots of people love this but are the bugs game breaking? Worst case scenario and bugs are never fixed, still worth the 3 bucks? Multiplay only or is there a 'campaign' mode? How do you aquire new cards? Is there any/much IAP? Thanks for sparing me the read of 100+ pages.
Caveat: I am world's biggest fan of O2. Is it worth $3? I've already taken at least $20 worth of entertainment out of the game, so my immediate answer is yes. No iap (yet, anyway). MP, campaign mode, single duels vs. ai, challenges vs. ai, draft MP. Will there be an update someday with new cards? Dunno, but I would guess it's possible. There are quite a few cards leftover from the original version that would fit nicely with this version.
The report was emailed to Pavel this morning and I invited Menneisyys to add any comments he may have. I also mentioned: "The most sought after feature mentioned would be a counter to show how many people are searching for a game (duel, draft). MP Constructed deck would be a huge plus. There is one thing you can probably add quite easily; more Challenges. If you want, I'd be happy to try and come up with a few - just let me know." Now, we sit back and wait and hope we get an update soon. It would certainly help get more users out there.
I dont think I 'get it'. How do I build my prefered deck, or is it just automatically assigned? I have prefered cards I want to use but seems they rarely show up in my hands. I hope I am misunderstanding this else I just think this game sucks lol.
Constructed deck is only vs. AI. Go to "Decks." Choose your cards and save and son;t forget to give it a name. Then when you want to play it, go to "Custom Duel" and under Duel Type," choose "User Deck." It's pretty straight forward.
So in campaign, what is the point of building the building and trading for or purchasing cards if you cant even use them in your deck when you want?
The acquisition of cards In Campaign is not constructed Deck, but cards acquired in Campaign mode WILL appear in your Campaign mode deck. You may only have 1 or you have quite a few, depending upon how they were acquired.
Let me rephrase then. Is there any way to prevent cards I will never use from appearing in my campaign deck?
Not as far I know. But once they are used up, they're not going to reappear unless you want to obtain them. Buildings allow you to get the cards you want and you can get others either from victories in battle or by using the Black Market.

Really the campaign isn't very compelling overall. Duel vs AI, AI challenges and especially Duel vs Multiplayer is what this game is good for.
