Played SE a lot when it came out, sank $4 into Crystals but just wasn't a huge fan of the system and was not happy to see cards nerfed almost from the get go. Don't get me wrong. The artwork is great and it's an excellent game but between the two, even in SD, it's hands down Orions for me.
psiboy: Great job on the text revisions. I've only glanced over a few of them, but I've spotted some errors: 1) Werewolf needs an apostrophe in "Werewolfs", under the Casting section. 2) Casting sections in general could use some consistency in wording. Some say "none", some "nothing"; it's better to use one or the other but not both. 3) Bless could use an amendment in the card effect's description. I really like the way you've grouped castings as spell name/cost/effect. That's the kind of consistency we need. Keep up the good work! EDIT: I realise how incredibly sad that makes me sound (I need to go "outside" more often!) but seeing as we're fixing this stuff, we might as well do it right!
Not sure. I was en fuego last night. Only played three matches but could do no wrong. It seemed like I had the answer for everything you played. When I first went over the deck I thought Blademaster would be key. Having the high health Archer to survive late game Rituals certainly helped. I wasn't sure if you had Chimera or Enslave but my plan all along was to cast Unholy Word to knock your mana down, jic. I think that one was the turning point. I'm sure you'll get me next time and I'll be the one asking "what? How?"
Same here. I played shadow era when it first came out and I was starting to get more into it but when I saw plans on balancing the cards right away, it really turned me off. A great game for sure just not for me. I've been Playing orions for a while now and I'm really really liking the game. I play this, board games and tbs games on iPhone.

Yea after you started with wings of wisdom and ritual I knew I Was in for a doozie. You were playin it kinda slow expecting me to have something bit it never came. No fairy, spider, red drake, etc to counter. We shall meet again! Noticing a lot of new guys out there too which is great!

I wish. did not have enough mana. Btw, I chose first for both duels and passed on Earth, allowing you to take the next three but you were supposed to pass the first turn back to me for both. In the rematch, I would have passed the first turn back to you. I was a tempo behind in the second game all the way and I knew it from the start. The Ritual was useless as it turned out.

Any word of when the patch will be rolling in? I can't wait to play this game on my old 1G touch (it's unplayable now due to some bug that the patch is supposed to fix). Also, will I be able to play multiplayer? Guess not, since there's no gamecenter support on touch 1G.
You tried to rush me ha Ice Wall and Banshee was unexpected. If you had drafted Fairy instead of Manicore it would have been an easy win. And I'm confused, I had first pick both duels but passed it to you both times right? Then you give it back on Earth, which is what happened?
Manticore was for me, the obvious first pick. You picked the Fairy next. At that point, it's impossible to know that one is going to be more important than the other. And if I had drafted Fairy and you had drafted Manticore, the Fairy only gets one shot, so between the two, Manticore was the better first choice (I think). No, I'm talking about the first turn of the actual duel, not the first pick for elements. We each got 3 first picks, that part was fine. Should be same as M:tG. Loser takes first turn of next duel or just alternate first turns of duels. Meanwhile, you played the first one flawlessly.
Oh I get it now. next time you got it . And sure sure I prefer Fairy over Manti tho. ha thanks. I don't mind the Ghost burn when it allows me to play an early Dark Druid. Dark Druid + full field Fire Ball hurts .
