Giant Spider is powerful, sure, but I'm not sure anything needs to be tweaked about it. Theres a plethora of ways to deal with it.

I have Orions 1 with Deckmaster expansions on Windows Mobile and I would like to know from you guys that you have it, if there are differences between the two versions. Is Orions2 way better than the original or it's not a big deal?
    Thank you!

WAY better. It has a ton of features Orions 1 desperately needed. The new card set is much better and more balanced than the last one. Challenges, Draft, Custom Decks... it's really great, if you enjoyed the first Orions, you'll love this one. It's everything it's prequel was and more.

I have to disagree. Something being dealable with and something being overpowered are two different things, although the first includes the second. Overpowered means something doing too much for it's cost. Giant Spider is a potential 7-attacker with 23 (or so) health, which is not to shabby for a 7-costed creature. However, this comboed with his ridiculously good free ability makes him a bit over the top.
Sure, there are ways to deal with him (eg Manticore), but few of them are very cost effective. I think it would be perfectly balanced if the cast costed 1 Earth or if the Giant Spider became just a Big Spider (nerf his attack or health).

    Level-6, not 7. 18 health, not 23.

Re the free ability, again, the only thing nerfing the cast to 1 does is make it impossible to bring another Spider into play. If you were going to nerf it (and I wouldn't), the logical thing would be to bring its health down to where it can more easily dealt with.

Hahahah. Oh, Amn. So well-reasoned and articulate and just a SMIDGE hypocritical! :D

That said, I think ditching the +3 power is a good idea. :) But! It's a fun bit of strategy, so I'd like to see it applied to another creature. Possibly Scareling or Enchanter. Or Nymph! :)

Does anyone else ever have a problem when using enslave? For instance even though you have a empty slot when you cast it, the enslaved creature dies as soon as you cast it anyway, especially if the creature was some form of elemental.

why? sounds odd.. (i mean logically not because its made this way), sounds like a remnant of the old rule that you need one slot to cast.. which is now gone..

Why this company had to release it only for iphone??!?! I'm jealous now. But I don't want to change my mobile just for one game.. :-( and if I would buy an iphone, I would buy iphone4 and it's still expensive..

I loved Orions 1. It's the most addictive handheld game I have ever played. I have played Orions for years and I'm still playing it in Metro - quick matches with CPU on hard. I have changed three windows mobiles (Qtek S100, HTC Touch Cruise and HTC Touch Diamond2) since 2005 and I have this little game in all of them. I think that Moregames entertainment have betrayed us. They released it first on windows mobiles, they became famous and now they have left this market.. Too pity.

    :( :( :(

The iPhone version isn't a port of the WinMo one - it just has the same name. It has tons of new cards compared to the WinMo version and, what is even more important, it has multiplayer.

You mean they left the WinMo market? Well, it's understandable: WinMo is completely dead. There simply isn't a point in developing any commercial application for it if you need at least to cover your costs from sales. iOS (and, to a lesser degree, WP7 / Android) is orders of magnitude larger a market. They would have 10? 20? sales at most on WinMo...

BTW, you can always buy a way cheaper iPod Touch (or an iPad) if you don't want to abandon your old phone. Both of these devices are great (albeit the screen of the iPhone 4 is waaaaay better, quality-wise than that of the iPT4).

I disagree, compared to the WinMo version, Orions 2 missing more than 30 cards.
