Ok, I found it. "(Earth) Silence (3) - This card is vastly underpowered/overpriced compared with Revival (5) or Restructure (6). Give up the attack? The card is best played with a full deck of creatures so why would you ever want to give up your attack? Makes no sense. Since Revival and Restructure do pretty much the same thing, why not a different use for Silence? Such as: "Gain 1 of each element. Neither you nor your opponent may attack until your next turn." Gives you a chance to build a defense against a strong opponent, while there is still a downside; it gives him a chance to weaken/kill your creatures with his own spell on his turn." Note it was 3 at the time and was reduced to 1. At this price (1), Pavel's combo is certainly worth trying.
Tython should be "Gains 1 attack each turn and loses 2 health on your turn." Otherwise, it wouldn't be clear what "1" it was gaining.
Same as you are, I'm still learning on how to properly use the cards (combo, timing) of this wonderful card game And yes indeed, it was a good game until the Blademaster loop. Played with lots of great players and learning their strategies. I don't mind playing long games but there's this one game that I just give up after probably ~30-45mins of playing. Check out the screenshot below. Both of us has plenty of life and mana, both with health restoration (Rejuvenation), mass creature damage/kill (Chaos Vortex, Acid Storm, Starfall), excellent blocker (Ethereal, Soul of Winds). Then one turn, after the board has been cleared (i think via Chaos Vortex) my opponent (Newb) just stopped playing. He won't play any cards and just wait until his timer run out. I don't know what's he was thinking. Probably he was also too tired to continue any more, not sure . But in the end, I hit the 'Surrender' button to play another game. Next match, I feel kinda sick and tired playing the game. Maybe because all my energy was drained playing my previous game
World Record Hehe. Cast Cure Wounds. See Avatar. Life total never corrected, was still way up there by end of game.
Worth trying if you happen to have those cards / that setup. Certainly not worth tailoring a deck around, or going out of your way to assemble. Maybe if Silence healed more than 3. As is, casting a string of Revivals when you have a bunch of creatures is an EVEN BETTER combo.
You could contact Eli Hodapp ; he seems to be THE Orions-fan in the TA staff: http://toucharcade.com/2011/02/21/moregames-entertainment-reveals-upcoming-orions-2-the-deckmasters/ “The down side of all this is that the small but hardcore audience I mentioned earlier that loved the original aren't too happy to see many of the features and functionality originally slated for updates now appearing in a brand new game. Personally, I'm just glad to see them at all, as the original Orions was a ton of fun, and I can't wait to play it online.”
So this game has no IAP, right? You just earn some kind of in-game currency for obtaining cards? Is it the kind of thing where you play single-player to earn better cards and then use them in multi-player?
Here is his profile amn, http://forums.toucharcade.com/member.php?u=6517 Don't forget to remind him to say in the review that the developer has showed up in the threads and is listening and already working on the next update to fix bugs!
The first revision of my text overhaul is done. I put up preview pics of all the cards on a blog. Don't forget to check out the flavor text too. PM me or leave comments. ORIONS TEXT OVERHAUL: http://orions2text.blogspot.com/
