You just gotta love how the reviewer doesn't even know the elements. "Wind, Lightning"... really? He doesn't know the most basic facts about the game and he reviews it? So that's where it's come to...

 

The game shuts down for me right after seeing the Chillingo screen. I'm on the iPod Touch 1G, software 3.1.2. Anyone have a solution for this?

Damn, I really have to upgrade to 4g.

 

Yeah, laughable really. I can even understand the mixup or confusion between Air and Wind if you only played the game for five minutes, but Lightning? Lightning???!!!

Drafting Convention for TA players

I almost forgot, one last thing. Re the drafting convention, alternating the first picks for each element is unnecessary. It might be simpler and reduce the possibility of an accidental touch if we just....

1) First player immediately passes his pick.

2) Second player chooses first for Water, Fire & Air, then passes his pick for Earth.

3) First player chooses first for Earth, Life & Death.

Remember to put TA after your name so you know who's using a drafting convention. If your opponent does not have a TA and doesn't return the favor of a passed pick, that's too bad.

 

Since orions1 run fine orions2 should too since its the same game codewise, so the only reason it would crash is if the devs did not weak link the games GC components.

The game says its 3.0 compatible but you(the dev) needs to actively check on startup what device you are running on and enabling/disabling game center/multiplayer.. and probably crystal too but cant say on that.

If your on 3.1.2 and on a device that cant upgrade to at least 4.2 (which should be the minimum requirement in the first place for the game) ask apple for a refund.

 

I tried my best to search this thread for an answer, came up with nothing.

The game works great (and is awesome) except I can't connect to multiplayer duels. The message of 'Must be authorized with Game Center first' comes up. I tried re-installing a few times, rebooting in between, etc.

any ideas? im also on the latest firmware

Did you tried to login/out of the game center app?

 

This is not the reason. There is a glitch however, and so it will be fixed in the next update.

 

The man himself.. Can you tell when the update is due and what it will contain?

 

Fixes for all the bugs I can fix.

 

So theres no way you can make draft mode alternate picks? =/

I'm a big fan of the first Orions, so I couldn't wait to get my hands on this. Unfortunately, I have the crash on startup on my 1st Gen touch 3.1.3. Pretty disappointing but at least there seems to be a fix on the way. Can't wait to play!

 

So much for the "credibility" of the reviewer...

 

O2 runs just fine on my 4.2.1 iPT 2nd gen.

 

Some random useless things I found out:

1. MAX life = 199
2. MAX HP = 99
3. Still trying to find out MAX Attack (Highest I got so far is 42 on a Cerberus with Solitude and Diablo.)



The 12 health on my ethereal is just to prevent them from getting assassinated. Archmage didn't possess any spells that could kill my Ethereals in one shot. Got my life and water mana up quickly with refresh and wings of freedom.

 

Bizarre setup.

Kraken followed by a 70 power Fire Elemental? Even more bizarre. lol.
