Magic Healer is far cheaper than Steal Life and it's been strenghtened since the WinMo days (now it has 12 HP instead of 10). That is, if you're lucky enough, you can almost always keep him on the board, which will guarantee your opponent will never try using Steal Life because he knows it'd be a futile attempt.

Rasten, that was a good split last night. You had to be at 10 when I had the Firestorm all ready to go, eh? ;)

    GC/Crystal

looks like GC got itself into some kind of mad loop. Meanwhile, GC has me down for 19 wins while Crystal has me for 22, which is correct. How does that happen? Where did my other wins go?

Also, on the Leaderboards, only 281 players are listed in the win column. I think we need to get the word around how much fun O2 is. And where are the reviews? Something should have come out on TA by now, no?

I love this game. Win or lose, it's always, always fun.

anyone else notice an annoying but if you play matches after each other (yeah not shutting down everything etc.) you don't start with your full minute..

i had it several times now with something around 45ish.. and then twice with around 15 seconds.. which is bogus.. quickly checking if there is a mana gaining spell and casting it before times run out and you loose your first spot and the other one start with a nice +1 mana bump and the start of the game :D

it would be really welcome if there would be some sound notification played when a game is found, a game started (phasing) , when a turn is over..

also more than once it took sometime to find a player and i left the device somewhere going to get something to drink or whatever just to came back to see a running game, half lost, or disconnected (from the other side)..

the hole matchmaking is more than annoying and nothing i really want to get used too.. and why can't we make an rematch immediatly after a match with the same player..

hey amn, preacher of orions.. could you ask your god pawel when he is going to make an new version and what fixes he think will it include?

Hey, thanks for the official designation, Ugly. Sorry if you think it is a sin to have some passion for a game that gives me so much enjoyment.

You might want to try and check the thread more often.

See http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=1744984&postcount=323 and a few other notices that have popped up. Since you are so interested, I strongly suggest you visit here [http://imoregames.com/contacts.htm] and contact the developer yourself and maybe you can find out and tell us. I haven't got a clue.

Just abort the game if you feel you got the shaft on the first turn time. It's not a big deal.

you are his beta guys..not me..

and thnx for the post link.. which is weird since i thought thoose guys don't speak english.. but writing is possible hmm.. or that was an missunderstanding..

well as for quiting a game.. i find that annoying.. more than enough player i encounter (thnx watzki for the GC tip!) quit on your the split second they think they might loose.. annoying as hell..

so i'm more inclinded to let the developer fix the bugs instead the community finding a way around them

as for contacting them.. nahh.. i think writing in here is good enough feedback for them.. at least i think that here is the biggest orions community.. so if they read thats good enough.. because they don't have time to write endless stuff because they are fixing bugs :D hopefully..

One time i bought a cup of coffee it was $4.50 and it didn't really taste all that good to me, it could have been hotter and had less sugar. I accepted the fact that sometimes things aren't perfect. I also realized that my experience wasn't universal, because my wife just so happened to like her coffee that way. What I didn't do was hop on a forum and whine incessantly for weeks on end and try and convince my wife she was an idiot for enjoying her coffee.

Orions2 is $2.99, i wish it had asynchrous MP like carcassone and i have had it crash a couple of times. Other than that, it's a great game and i got my monies worth out of it. Yeah and it would be nice if those issues got fixed, but if they don't I think i will survive.

i don't drink coffee and i would never pay 4,5 for a sip where i can get several liter of my favourite soda for that money..

again money is not and never was an issue.. pretty much any solid game on the appstore is a bargain.. especialy here in germany, but thats not the point..
    is it..

apparently alot of the folks out there seems to take any critic to a game they play personal.. here we call them fanboys.. who go rampant if you even hush a bit of critic..

i am a orions player i bought the first, hated the campaign, was annoyed but the bugs but still played it because of the core being what it is GREAT

now i got o2, still like it , still has tons of bugs, campaign is still crap, but it got rudimentary working multiplayer where it again shows that is core gameplay is GREAT.. even more in multiplayer..

doesn't change the fact that orions is faar from polished, and even amn was surely not very excited about seeing 200odd people playing the game in multiplayer (or rather having won at least a match so lets double that numbers)..

i would like to see the game get the attention it deservers.. by the audience AND the developer.. i would like to see it not getting 200 player but 200.000
and if anyone thinks complaining about bugs, missing features, polish etc. is bad well then thats your opinion.. if you think orions could be better and should be better.. shout..

again its not about personal preference, liking etc.. but alot of people don't even get it..

orions is like a cofee shop without offering milk and sugar.. they possibly make the very best cofee in the world.. but they need to offer milk and sugar to get the attention of an wider audience..

p.s.: 4.5$ pfffzz.. i hope there was a gold nugget inside..

You keep trying to make this the issue. And failing.

The issue is not critics and/or criticism. It never has been. The only person saying that is you. You appear to be attempting to claim some sort of moral high ground by being a lone voice of reason amidst a sea of "fanboys." But, again, you are failing. The only place your noble crusade is taking place is inside your own head.

This is the real issue: you've made your point. Repeatedly. Everyone gets it, yet you insist on making it again and again and again. Just like you over there, we have lots of fun words over here, too. We can what you're doing "trolling."

since you added some few words..

of course you get your money worth out of it.. even if it was 5$.. again thats not the point.. i think no one here complained about the price of it ever..

as for bugs etc. , you will survive it.. me too.. we all will.. question is if the game will.. maybe you don't care about the future of orions since you got your money worth out of it.. but i doubt the developer share this opinion

sales are getting lower and lower and the game is outside of any important category.. in any big region its out of the game charts sunkend deep into the 50+ positions of strategy, the same view in the other section its in board (why the heck was it not in cards instead of board i can't understand)

adn as faar as comments from the devs go that they read and will do an update.. the same thing they said for months and months with orions1 and nothing happened..

but i am always the bad guy because i point repeatedly to such things :)
maybe i'm just hopeing the devs would care at some point.. let me keep dreaming :p

It's a difficult one, this debate. I agree with all parties to an extent; the "fanboy" beta testers as well as mr.Ugly and his supporters. O2 cost the same as a coffee (more or less).

    - So should we be grateful for what we have, bugs and all?
    - Or should we expect the developer to work on updates to improve and fix the game, add more cards, expansions and some polish, not mention improving the MP experience?
    - Are we justified in this expectation, given the small price we have paid?
    - Or should the developer be concentrating their efforts on squashing bugs and giving customers what they have paid for, regardless of the price paid?

The following is my personal opinion: the way I see it, the developer has to consider profit. At the end of the day, they are in this business to make money. I can honestly say that I would be happy to pay up to about £7-10 ($10-15) for O2 if everything that was wrong with it was fixed. I'm talking about squashing all known bugs and rewriting card descriptions so there are no ambiguities. In short, making the game a more professional package.

Of course, for a game of this nature, where over 100 cards interact with each other, there are probably millions of combinations; it is impossible to find and fix all potential bugs. Which is why a game like O2 needs to be constantly updated, if not with new content then certainly with bug fixes. I believe a price of $10-15 would give the developer the encouragement to actually invest the time and effort in fixing O2.

The question is this: how many people would be willing to pay $10-15 for O2? I think a lite version would help enormously if the game was to be priced so high.

well if other poster than me post their issues and then they are being talked down "its not so bad" "its still total fun" etc. this does not help.

this has nothing todo with any ground..especialy not moral.. creating games is a business.. and as a business men myself i can tell you tons of reasons why the dev should not even spend a single minute more into orions2...

but then there is the customer too.. which can see things different..
and always hope for the best.. that stuff gets fixed, that the game gets better.

but then even chillingo did not care about the game at all.. has anyone seen any advertising or whatever for the game.. i have not..

and if you think i'm trolling thats fine.. please report my post to a moderator then. there is this little button in the upper right corner.
