Was that our game? On my side, the app closed out entirely.

Yup, in some 3-5% of cases, I've encountered the same. It's in only one case was that the player has disconnected on me because he was going to lose.

Heh, I just assumed it was just bad grammar and it had to do with changing any damage spells it to 5 damage.

Not for this one :p The advantage and disadvantage of the evil sorcerer is that he's not affected by magic, such as firestorm etc, but he's also not effected by buffs

Tell me if my wrong, but the only way to deal with such a direct damage attack is to get a magic healer, isn't it ?

Ashcroft, did you surrender in the game we've just played and I was going to win (Dispercers are GREAT)? For some reason, when I was going to select Restructure, for some reason, I found myself in the main menu - without any message about broken connection and/or your surrendering. Was it a bug?

Yup, it's great in that even if it only has 1 HP, he can block even 20-30 HP loss. If the opponent may come up with Steal Life, Magic Healer is a must to avoid any damage to the owner.

Just used Pure Heart against Ashcroft - took out his Grim Reaper in one step :) The +10 hit against Death cards is just great - along with the other goodies.

Pure Heart is extremely awesome--it is probably the most effecient way of getting rid of a Darklord, or any other Death critter for that matter. I certainly wouldn't say it is overpowered, but does obviate the former glory of the Paladin.

Hello, I'm new here. I suppose ive probably played all of you at least once. Good fun, some great games!

Just found this forum trying to figure out why I got how someone enslaved me without the requisite death mana...

I see that my name has popped up a few times. I'll clarify some things...

I NEVER have disconnect from a game on purpose. Many of the better players here know that they've gotten me to 1 health and 10 etc turns later end up winning. I do live in a city, with many open wifi connections around me. Sometimes just walking from one end of the house to the other, my iPod has jumped off my wifi to someone else's on its own.

To the post above, yes, I did surrender. I accidentally whipped out an elementalist when I wanted to pull my kracken and wipe the board. That's why as the last play I still pulled the kracken out to show ;) I dont make many mistakes, tho I do play fast and usually while only half paying attention.

I would like to thank everyone as i've had some really great games with many of you. Especially those in the top ten of the game center list. All great players where the outcome is usually only decided on the luck of the cards in hand. Cheers!

Yup, I did wonder why you needed an Elementalist at all as you didn't use its (excellent) ability to seriously weaken (or even kill) any of my high-powered cards (without it, there isn't much point in playing the card at all). Now, I know the answer. Sorry for your bringing in the wrong card.

OT: Guys, I've just posted a major writeup on the following:

    - combating Vimeo-related problems - how you can watch Vimeo videos if they aren't directly linked, only embedded and are, therefore, impossible to watch without some hacking or using Skyfire (which, on the other hand, would seriously degrade quality)

    - checking out the source code in any Web browser (incl. Opera Mini), what (excellent and brand new) related scriptlets there are.

    Amazing battle

I just start a Usual online duel with random online player. Some player named
wwbat.ta connecting to me. After connecting game mode happeened to be Draft!. And all creatures to choose were NIXIES :D We quickly choose nixies in all 6 elements.
Lol it was so strange. We made about 20 quick turns summoning nixies and sometimes doing theirs cast. After that it becomes boring and he's disconnected.

    That's pretty funny.

Nixie may be bugged, tho. In campaign mode, it sometimes says you have "-1" quantity of Nixies in the card store, but you're still able to see the actual number you have when in a match.
