@mr.Ugly don't know what you're talking about. I can see my ranking fine globally and there are a LOT of players on the charts. Also if you can't find anyone to play with online then suck it up, you were unlucky with timing. I just went online now and connected immediately.
I think playing Megaworm is just killing yourself if you don't handle it properly. So far everyone who has played megaworm is just killing themselves with the -3 damage per turn. It's pretty easy to counter the worm, for example I use disperce. Decrease worm life slowly..let it live and do the damage, and takes 2 turns to kill the bug and I gain mana.
I've had occasional problems finding a game, nothing major. GC comes up landscape if you rotate the phone. Typically, I will go back to the home screen and start again if I can't connect within 90 seconds, including when I get to Phase 0 that goes nowhere. Official stats are on Crystal. Worldwide no. 1 has something like 89 wins (???). If you go through the list, you'll find some of us on TA. I know according to you I'm wearing rose colored glasses but honestly, I'm fine with things so far and as I've said before, I am having an absolute blast playing the game online. Could it be better? Undoubtedly. Both GC and OF have issues. Those that use their own servers seem to be providing the best experience for MP (like Samurai, wihch has been 100% perfect). I wrote that they were working on their next game. I also wrote (and so did Pavel), they they would provide updates to address issues. ----------------------------
great for you.. what has one todo with the other.. it work to you so everyone else where it does not work is at fault.. and again i was online at the same time with my friend talked over the phone.. apparently your one of thoose who don't even care to read what one writes.. ?! and this is what i see on game center , checking their leaderboard.. i don't use GC myself at all (more a open feint guy) but it still looks weird low.. is the game probably filtering by region or so? connecting us players to us player or so? maybe amn can ask the dev how they implemented the mp?
crystal.. interesting that there are more scores.. should be the same not? do one need to be logged in to crystal to be able to play multiplayer then?
Why Ethereal? It's pretty pricey. IMO: Fairy should simply cost 2 to use the ability. Manticore should cost 1 air to use the ability. Blood Ritual should give 8 instead of 10. It'd be tempting to nerf them harder, but consider that Fairy is primarily good because you can spam their ability every turn. Manticore's ability should have a cost just because it doesn't make a lot of sense to have it be free. AND adding a cost would also hurt Fairy a bit. If you have both out, you're burning through 3 air a turn and that's a steep price. Blood Ritual would be pretty useless if it actually worked the way it's supposed to. Net gain of 2 fire? Plus the damage downside? You'd never, ever cast it. Unless it didn't count toward the one-spell-per-turn limitation.
For the record, being unable to ditch cards in campaign mode AND being FORCED to take a new card when you defeat an opponent is really not okay. Pavel MUST implement a solution to this. It's even dumber than it was in O1. Two solution possibilities: 1) Allow selling cards to the store for a fraction of their cost. 2) Simply add a "no thanks" button to the "you found some crap cards after you dusted that weakass mofo" screen
No, the games are arranged via GC but Crystal gets the records. Why? I have no clue how that works, seems strange. So anyway, if you want to see rankings, use Crystal. There are scores for Campaign (I have no clue how they score that either!) and for multiplayer duels. I'm not even sure how that works because it shows me with 14 wins there but GC says I have 20. In any event, the rankings are not even an issue with me.
weird ugly, i have hundreds of multiplayer people on my charts. and amn, gc also has the same rankings. Hit the score button on the main tab, then online, leaderboards, multiplayer
Blood Ritual would be nowhere as attractive if it were watered down further. It was even more in the beta, but even there, it was simply a very attractive card but not an automatic game winner. I would be very much against nerfing anything at this point. The game has been in play for what? Less than a week! Given the background of this game and its previous audiences on Windows, the developer has had plenty of time to adjust costs and abilities and I would be happy sticking with his judgment, rather than even remotely attempting to force the issue with repeated calls from a few of us here on TA. I was very unhappy to see the chorus of nerf this, nerf that on the SE forum and regardless of the common wisdom, I think it was a mistake to nerf cards or make any adjustments as early as they did. I'd hate to see the same happen here. Thankfully, I don't think Pavel has any intention to change any of the cards at this point. If there are any changes coming, they are likely to be months away.
but in its current state there is just no reason not to cast blood ritual or especially wings of wisdom during the first round which leads to repetitive gameplay if you have the card and want to win more than anything
I think I've been countering blood ritual..I think so far I lost sometimes to people who cast blood ritual once but if they cast 2 or 3 times my field presence advantage made sure they lost.
OK I didn't want to hop into MP, being that this is my first game of this type ever. So i beat the campaign, then i beat all the challenges, then I beat the computer on normal for 20 duels, so I could learn what i was doing first and well... I just had my first MP game against Raven (my name is dad very original) and i won. It was awesome! It took forever but i had him on the ropes the whole fight pretty much, I had 87 health at the end, but man he took forever to kill. Anyway that was just really great and now i see why you guys like the MP so much. This game is well worth the money.
yea its easy to counter if you have red drake, but its still worth playing if you have the card on your first turn no matter what
thats where i took the picture from.. see the title bar on the screenie.. is multiplayer regional? can anyone confirm or denie that you can play with people outside of your territory? (us with europe etc.) ? maybe i can only see local scores and connec to local players (in germany) but that would be odd..
Ok, no problem, but first of all, you'll only have the ritual about 30% of the time and only half that time (15%) you'll have the first turn. So, about one of seven matches. No biggie. I've won against the ritual first turn and lost after ritualing first turn. Results are never guaranteed.
well i left it running next to working for around 4 hours now.. most of the time it just finds nothing sometimes i can see a phase 0 or phase 1 text on the last screen.. are thoose suppose to mean something? sometimes the phase1 flashes. question is.. if i start to search and he searches and comes to the "network game" screen.. where it shows waiting for connection.. do i wait longer or does this mean "nothing found" ?

If I can't get a connection within 90 seconds, Ill close out and try again. If I can't get a connection after several attempts, I'll shut the app and reopen and try again. It's also possible that you're the odd man out as players rematch with each other after a duel or that GC is having problems at the time.
