Gonna pass, it looks like. I'm just not liking what I'm hearing here ... and it's not like I can ever expect any actual support from the developer. Heaven forbid.

I'll keep O2 on the App Shopper wish list, and I'll certainly read the release notes for any future updates. Heh ... "updates" ... I almost was able to say that with a straight face.

For those enjoying O2: More power to you; have fun. Rock on. Go with God.

    For me: No sale.

Dev has commented twice here and seems to be willing to fix bugs/balance. But whatever works :)

I'm sorry; that made me laugh out loud. Probably not the response you were looking for.

We'll see, I guess. Like I said, I'll gladly read every word of the release notes ... if there's ever an update.

Dev is also Russian and not fluent in English. But yeah, keep an eye out for any updates, really fun game.

Anyone having issues with saving options? It never saves for me. I specially want to mute sounds and i have to do it every time i start the game.

Had an interesting duel just now, probably the longest i had, against someone named "free-spirit". I don't really know what his intentions were, but he was dragging the game, piling up points and using just low level cards. At some point he had 20+ in water, fire and death. I kept using my best cards and dealing as much damage to the player instead of creatures. He, as i expected, used chaos vortex once (i thought he would have steal life as well) and cleaned the board. After that i thought he would play offensive, but no, still piling points... yawn. So i summoned the kraken and used a hermit on it (just to make sure), used some other low creatures, and as soon as i thought he was about to use vortex again, i cast the kraken's ability. He wanted to play a bit more offensive after that, but his life was running in his 20's so after a good firestorm on the board, and the rebirth of my kraken, i managed to kill him off.
I really dislike when people are so defensive, specially if they have the right spells on them. Makes the game last for so long.

And for those who pass, no problem, it's your loss.

This dude is a serious player, I can tell you that. Very good and will do what he needs to beat you. Glad to hear you had some success. No one is invulnerable.

Finally won 2 games in a row. Played my first draft game. Its so unbalanced. Picked second every turn and then went second! Still won the game but that was tactics. Second game way to stick in there ash, that I didn't realize that chimera was so dang powerful

Just played against someone who somehow was able to cast Enslave without the requisite Death elements. Happened numerous times in two different games, and his Death element count would regularly go into the negatives. I thought at first I must have missed something on another card that may have activated some ability allowing him to do so...but nope, sure doesn't look that way (Enchanter, Red Drake; those shouldn't have any such effect).

Anyone else experience something like this?

Glad to see the developer is here and playing--GREAT game, Pavel, it is obvious you put in a ton of work regarding design and balance!

Second that. Free-spirit is the best player I've played against and while he is a little defensive he knows how to conserve his elements and plays very smart.

Yes, i played him before, but he was using a different approach this time (more secure about his gamestyle). It was definitely more about tactics and less about luck (which was good for a change). People are saying that it's all about big creature fights, but i disagree, castings and spells and the more direct damage you deal on your opponent is where it's at.

On the topic of good players, Rasten is probably the one that kicked my ass the most. But if you make one mistake and you don't have good cards, you're done, no matter who you're playing with.
It makes me think of the possibilities of playing online with custom decks, but at the same time, i think that those duels would last way too long :D

Try some drafts alternating picks, alot more fair and fun games. Picking up creatures that help each other and counterpicking versus the opponent is like a game of its own which adds alot to the strategy in this game.

Great duel, dude. I had the BBQ ready and had to delay everything. That was 40 minutes!

Amazing. Wings of Wisdom turned out to be an awesome card.

Yeah, Amn, that was a hell of a fight--I've always been a fan of Wings of Wisdom. Didn't expect Avatar, though, which turned out to be pretty effective. You certainly did pull out some unexpected stuff to beat me--great fight. BAH, I just miscast Kronos AGAIN! Good thing it isn't a fatal move like casting Scylla, though!

    I do :).

It is probably from winmobile version, I've reworked Avatar to more obvious behavior. Well, there's still a bug with moonlight and cure wounds, which I already fixed. Will work as intended in the next version.

Somehow this didn't make into the description. Fixed.

    [/QUOTE]

Yes, true. It's not a bug, I just forgot to change description accordingly :).
