How do you play multiplayer? Every time I click on it, it just says "connecting" and then doesn't move beyond that stage. Using an iPad.
Someone else has to be trying to play as well. You might have to close out the app in taskbar and try again
Yes, the complainants are so out of whack it's ridiculous. I am having a blast. Btw, Ashcroft, I believe that was a bug. I cast Chaos Vortex and lost zero death elements. It probably didn't cost you the game but I can't be sure. I had Steal Life and held back from using it afterwards, thought it would be cheap.
Bug Reports ??? If anyone saw my previous post, what do you think of an idea of starting a new thread simply for bug reports and suggestions for improvements for Chillingo/iMore? I'm guessing it would be best if moderated (if that's possible). Not all of the bugs reported so far are bugs or perhaps they're explainable from the rules of the cards. The suspected bug I encountered seemed pretty wrong. I had 13 Death and cast Chaos Vortex and no death elements were removed. The next turn I had 14. Sounds like a verifiable bug to me.
Right now too things are detracting from the game: 1) Multiplayer is really spotty. A friend and I had a hard time getting a game going. That could be due to Game Center outages we apparently had today. 2) No custom decks on multiplayer is pretty lame. Haven't run into many bugs yet.
Anyone else having problems authenticating into Game Center...? I can't even invite anyone like this. Hmmm doesn't seem to be GC's fault. Reset Orions and I can authenticate right away. Is shitty netcode to blame here...?
Is this a blind-buy type of game? 1. I used to love MtG - this was around the late 1990's ('97, '98) - quit soon after 2. Never played the original. Dive or not?
I encountered the Steal Life bug too. Cast it on my turn before attacking, and died immediately upon casting. I had 5 life, was supposed to drain 7 from my opponent.
Once you leave the app you have to close out orions in the taskbar to play mp again. Once you restart the authentication works fine
Yea I was surprised when you died all of a sudden. Think I was gonnawin anyways but didnt expect you to get ripped off like that
If you're looking for a strictly card game with multiplayer and dueling as the main function, hell yes, I've been having such a blast with it. If you want a good story with it look elseswhere the campaign leaves much to be desired, but honestly, this is a card game, who cares. On another note... Looking for more friends to add me and play some rounds with me just invite me whenever usually available. Gosh darn resetting my phone every time multiplayer won't like me authencate is really annoying and seems to be the biggest/only reoccuring bug I've encountered.
If you're dying upon casting, that means your casting triggered some effect, and you died before your heal was effective. This could be Astral Cloud, Black Mage, or maybe some other ability I don't remember.
