Major bug! Giant Spider keeps casting it's target after dead. This occurs even after the game ends aha. Was playing online, and had a MegaWorm completely paralyzed throughout the entire game. Nevertheless i won without suffering a single hit to my player, just my creatures. My first draft game.
Thanks to Quorlan for that lengthy post a few pages back, in which you explained how all the grammatical and punctuation errors occurred. I cannot believe how unprofessional Chillingo have been over this entire O2 affair. I am even more amazed that the developer chose to work with Chillingo, given their blatant disregard for QA. Chillingo's cavalier attitude towards O2 beggars belief and I would urge the developer to seriously think about either self-publishing or working with another publisher for future projects. Chillingo's arrogance and laughable QA is very evident in how they have handled O2 (not to mention O1), from its conception right through to its release.
I hope everyone who has discovered bugs has contacted the developer about them. We want to maximise the chances of actually getting bug fixes and content updates this time round. There's no point complaining unless you actually tell the people responsible for fixing it. If O2 goes the same way as O1 in terms of complete lack of support, then it will be a huge shame because O2 is a fantastic game with massive potential to become even better.
2nd match Just found the time to play my second match - an epic duel with Ashcroft. Thanks, dude, great fun! Btw, Ethereal doesn't work against Giant Turtle, whose power is to SQUISH anything with less than 10 health (Ethereal only has 9). Hells, the Turtle even made a squishing sound when it attacked.
Never happened with us. We did have a rare glitch here or there and my suspicion was memory conflicts. Always best to close other apps before playing, especially online. Or if your device has been on all day, turn it off and on. Ain't a perfect world.... I just played a duel where three "your move" popups appeared, two for Carcasonne and one for Tikal. I guess those need to be turned off too, lol.
I love the little animations and sound effects. And that music is superb; it's very atmospheric and certainly adds to the overall experience, for me at least.
I completely agree with this. The game is phenomenal and has huge potential if they market/support it accordingly.
There doesn't seem to be a quick way of looking up a card's effect when constructing a custom deck. It's not a major issue because I have all card images stored in my photo library (I've created one album for each elemental school). But I think it should be addressed in the next update; I shall add it to my feature request list for the developer
hehe and here the story begins again... contacting the developer may be hard if they are not able to speak proper language.. but you might think the developer themself would move their ass to the community and not the other way around.. i had now 4 crashes with the mini version twice the bug with opposing blademasters, once while the ai made some major attack with 5 monsters and lots of spell casting against me.. and once.. just mid game nothing special directly after casting an monster.. i'm glad i did not send another cent to the developers i will wait 2-3 updates to see what gets fixed and if ever and then decide if the game is worth all the hassle.. this is pretty dissapointing.. would be more annoyed if id spend money.. again..

BTW, until there's a list of the games, it's very easy to get the card info: 1, go to your iTunes Mobile Applications directory and look up "Orions2 1.0.ipa" 2, rename it to .zip and go into it 3, in Payload\Orions2.app, look for the .inf files - they contain ALL the information in easily readable textual form. Note that there are also inf files for the removed cards (e.g., Forest Spirit).
I loved Orions 1 and am dying to purchase O2. Sadly, due to unfulfilled promises for the original Orions I will hold off buying until I see iMG either put out a patch or two. iMG must have something wrong with them to not fully understand the actual potential of this game. Once I see some dev support for this game in the following weeks/months I will purchase this and gift it to a few of my friends. Fingers crossed. Get you're act together iMG.
Today, I played about 20 MP games on both my iPad 1 and iPad 2. No crashes at all (of course, I always restart my iPads before playing) and it only disconnected on me twice; that is, in about 10% of cases. Sometimes, I needed to kill the process and start it again because it couldn't log in to GC. Dunno if it was a problem on GC's part (e.g., a temporary problem).
I've gotten 4 disconnects out of about 12 or so games; more than I'd like. Then again, there's a thunderstorm around my area right now, which might have influenced things a bit. Great games thus far!
well with the mini i'm obvously playing against the ai.. does it not crash if you put a 2 blademasters against each other in mp?
I got the free version today, after restarting the ipod touch I played about 5 games. Game crashed in 2 of those games to the home screen. I will try to lock down what is causing the crashes.
