      Just read this today on IGN. Looks like The Bard's Tale will be updated to include the original Bard's Tale as well as receiving future updates with The Bard's Tale 2 and 3. Looks like this is just a "thank you" to the fans who purchased the iOS version of the game.

      Wow!
      Bards Tale II was an incredible game, I'm not sure how it will port over but I would definitely love to see that.

      Perhaps this will help justify the 1.5GB file size.

      Couldn't they just sell the old games? I would certainly buy them.

      From what I get from the article they are just doing it to be kind to the users who bought the iOS version of The Bard's Tale.

      Too right. This news doesn't mean an individual release isn't possible. I won't be lugging around over a gig of data just for Bard's Tale I, that's for sure. A release of the original trilogy in their full colour glory though, I'd pay for that. Last time I played them was on an Apple II GS. I hope they don't port the inferior looking PC version.

      Exactly. I beat the three original BT games on my Apple IIe and would love to have them again.
      I really have no interest in the new Bard's Tale.

      Well, they are all out now. BTI and BT2 are the Apple IIgs versions. That's great, they look and sound excellent. BT3 never got an updated GS port so they used the IIe version, and while it looks like a graphical downgrade from the first 2 since its 8-bit rather than 16-bit, it's still a great game.

      So happy they included these. Even if you hate the new Bards Tale game, this package is worth the entire price just for these.
