Hey guys, the game is crashing everytime i touch the continue button. I tried with or without wifi, restarted, reinstalled... The weird thing is that it doesn't happen straight away, i can play a few times each time I reinstall the game but then it will just crash everytime and i'll need to erase the game thus starting over... Am I the only one in that situation? Today's update didn't solve the problem either... Ipad 2-5.0.1
I have the same problem. Its after i jailbroke my ipad. I recall my save was in the middle of the mexican restaurant. After jailbreaking i suppose the downloaded restaurants got deleted somehow. So now the game keeps failing to load the missing restaurant. Not sure how this can be solved, now i have a save in limbo.
Well for me the bug happened even before i jailbroke my ipad so i don't think it can be responsible for that crash. It's just weird that there aren't a lot of people having it.
I completed another menu after the update but still not getting the achievement for unlocking all items on a menu.
I just found a slight *glitch* in the game which would make it easier to play... Disclaimer: This only happened to me once, so I need to verify it again or someone needs to try it out as well..! I managed to unlock dishes without paying any silver. 1. Pay the normal route (unlock, pay in silver coins) 2. Press the home button 3. Remove the game from the multitask bar (double press home button) 4. Enter game again Viola! You now have the dish unlocked but still retained the silver coins! In truth I did not set out to break the game, I was on the metro and the game was running unbelievably sluggishly, so I closed the app completely, and didn't realise I still had the silver coins until I finished cooking for the day... Update: I have now re-tried this and it works! It is important to remember that you have to press the home button right after you unlock any items, and not press any confirmation icon in the game. This works for normal unlocks, but not when the food critic comes and not for spices.
Spices only cost 20 coins so it's not the end of the world... Have you tried it with normal unlocks though?
Well, i can buy spices to unlock them, but the glitch doesn´t work. No biggie, but i rather save for the other restaurants first.
Actually, this problem went away for me when I noticed I was not swiping in the proper direction. Doh!
I think the game focuses more on the action of swiping down, with less regards to where you actually start swiping from. It took me a while to figure that out (must admit, not the brightest of gamers when under stress).
Same here - continue keeps crashing cannot get into game. Not Jailbroken, my issue started after the update. Did anyone solve this?
The latest patch notes say: Improved cloud save game handling and restoration Has anyone figured out how the cloud save functionality works? Nothing is jumping out at me...
I wonder if this be updated to support 64 bit just like fancy pants adventures (I mean that it was updated,not sure about this one).
