I enjoy this game quite a bit but I find my Iphone 3GS to be showing it's age I believe... When I'm in towns or there's more than 3-4 things going on when I pan the camera it skips quite a few frames...I've watched videos of other people playing on newer devices and it runs great. Oh well I have to upgrade soon!! I'm definitely interested in joining the TA guild so I'll get in contact with one of you guys!! In game name is : M-Raux
Is there a map somewhere online? Hi, I'm wondering if there's a map out there with locations of all npcs/stashes/mailboxes, etc. As well as which enemies/areas to find certain crafting materials. It's hard to keep track of.
I wouldn't worry about being behind or anything...You're best bet is to NOT treat this like your standard console MMO where being the highest level the fastest is going to yield the most enjoyment. Rushing in this game means you're going to run out of things to do quick, haha. And Lesrider, it sounds like you have a project you can undertake! Pen and paper, ahoy!
You can make your phone a personal hotspot, then connect to your own phone as wifi? If so then it sounds like a good workaround although possibly battery intensive. But if it is that easy why are people complaining about not able to use 3G?
Sorry...I was referring to using an iPad and using the iPhone as the hotspot. Sorry for the confusion.
I play this game on an iPad2 with my iphone as a hotspot when I'm not near a wifi hotspot. Works like a champ!
the thing i explained in my recent post.... Was that a talent calculator? I think it was. Sorry for the dumb comment.
Quick tip for those stuck on Rescue the Sailor quest. Two sailors spawn one each in the two tents up the beach. Most people doing the quest hang around down on the beach amongst all the crabs waiting for the sailors. But if you just sit tight in the safe area between the two tents then you can heal two sailors every couple of minutes without worrying about other players (or crabs). Select the sailor and then use the med kit. You can put the med kit in the right hand side bar for quick access, but I didn't really need this as I was the only one in that location, whereas there were about 10 people fighting over the other spawn point.
any help for the collecting the debt quest? there's like 10 ppl standing there and talking to the guy before i get the chance...
So, I just bought the game. Here are my questions that have probably been asked before a million times, sorry. What class do you recommend? How do I get on the toucharcade server and guild? Anything else I should know, being a complete noob at these types of games?
There is a big need for this kind of detailed description for each rank of each spell/ability because, as I learned the hard way, resetting your talents DOES NOT reset your learned abilities. So, in your example, you are stuck with that 15 second (instead of 5 second) cooldown FOREVER. I would much rather pay all the gold required to start all over and re-learn all the ranks of each ability after a talent reset. Now I'm kind of scared of buying higher rank abilities because I don't know what kind of undesirable changes may be in store. Another way to fix this (and make me very happy) would be to allow us to use a lower rank of a certain spell/ability instead of automatically choosing the highest ranked one. Hopefully Gameloft will address this issue in a future update.
Lmao. Because everybody has both right? FYI that's still technically playing over wifi and not 3G. You just happen to be creating your own network
Whatever fits your play style - there's four classes filling the sterotypical roles for a game like this and three character slots, not really something to hurt your head over, and for about $1.50, you can have a fourth slot and just play all four (that's what I'm doing). It takes a couple of hours to play any class to Level 10 and by then you should have a feel for the look and basic mechanics of the class and how you like it. Create a character on the Arcadian Forest server complex and message one of the guild "leaders" when you see them in-game (they're mentioned above every other page in this thread) - some to look for, GodSon, Backtothis, Eli, Hodapp, and Xexist. However, think about this because, for now, all a guild really amounts to is a tag under your toon's name. No hall, no guild vs. guild battles, no cape, no good way to organize and the Arcadian Forest server is regarded by many as overcrowded and there is at least one TA guild on the Tear Coast server complex as well. Have fun and don't over think things - it's really not a very complex game at all if you've ever played any sort of CRPG.
@Shankopotamus warrior-hybrid of battle and guardian class..............simply the best............got ganked by three people in pvp area, but at level 30, i showed them who was their daddy.....also, its pretty easy to survive later in the game by using courage skill often and maxing out the fearless skill..
Master Sargeant's.....? I just bought the Heavy Marcasite Axe recipe (680 currency!) to discover that I need something called a "Master Sargeant's Sy...". It's cut off. Anyone know what it is and where I can find one? I'll even make you one if you can fond it for me.
