Once you get to higher levels, having a group for some quests is really helpful. At 27-28 there are a couple in the southeast of the Swamp where you have to kill elites, and that's pretty much impossible unless you're overleveled or in a group. Levels 31-33 seems to be a grindfest as well; unless I'm missing a ton of quests somewhere, I just hit 31 and there's relatively little left until 34. As for the PVP, I'd be perfectly fine with it if it weren't centralized. Without teleporting it's impossible to not run directly through the Swamp PVP zone, and the number of people who have nothing better to do than sit in a group at the entrance with five or ten levels above everyone else seems to be increasing. I know it'll even out eventually once people start hitting 50-60 (assuming there's enough to actually do once you've maxed out), but the problem is that these /aren't/ PVP servers. In WoW, at least the PVP zones were universal, so there weren't gankers sitting in one specific area. Especially in the Swamp (I haven't explored the Island PVP zone yet) there are tons of people sitting near the entrances or the town, and if you're underleveled enough it's impossible to avoid getting killed. Add in the people sitting by the gravesite and it becomes pretty frusterating.
Nice, when I get my iPad 2 I'm totally doing that. That was the only thing I was worried about. EDIT: Looked it up, nevermind now that I see theres an extra charge to allow for tethering
Taren Mill, South Shore... if you know these names, then you're undoubtedly familiar with questing in PvP zones at a low level. I think its just exacerbated due to the grind congestion as everyone pushes for end game. Until that subsides, suck it up folks - we all gotta die sometime.
Best grenadine farming place I have found is the entrance to Waterby Village. 3 or 4 footmen spawn right there fairly regularly, and 2 others are within shooting distance without moving. I mention it now since I am almost at the 560 for the next level. Best to do it at a higer level...almost on autopilot at level 18 as a monk there.
High level body guards Find some high level players and pay them to escort you through those dangerous areas lol. Chances are they won't really need what you can afford to pay, but I think it'd be fun to escort some people.
Does the Ranger's assasin spec grant invisible stealth like WoW's Rogue or Druid? As much as I enjoy my Military Monk, there's something I miss about not having stealth.
i HATE YOU >:| Walked all that way to check out the spot before i realized.... I needed poor fur lol. Luckily there was some wolves close by
oh damn... I may need to reroll, stealth is one of those things that makes being slippery so fun. /misses my feral druid.
Just got intermidate crafting ,needed runestones to make epic goods tht is a serious game breaker if u need to use real money, twinks for cash will kill anygame..is this the only way to get runestones???
Hey i just followed the lady after talking to the people in Cliffwatch castle. I went back to the castle but i couldnt find anyone to talk to. What do i do after this quest?
Hey guys. I'm planning on getting this game tomorrow and have a couple questions. What race and class do you all prefer and recommend? Is there still room for me to join the server with all the toucharcade guys on it?
That's what I predicted early in this thread and I'm disappointed to hear it confirmed. Afaik there is no way to get that stuff without spending cash. My only hope now is that there are drops that are equal to or better than the gear you can craft with the runestone purchases.
1. Out of the two I've tried,(Mage and Monk) I prefer the Monk. Better survivability and is more fun to play. 2. The server and guild aren't full, but the Arcadian Forest server isn't doing to well, being the most populated and all.
Thanks. So if I joined the Arcadian Forest it would be more laggy? Also, what about the 2 other classes? Sorry for all the noob questions, I'm just really excited for this game and want to have a good time.
