Most MMORPGS seem pointless before you grasp the essence of the genre. Just take your time and do what the tutorial says and you should be swallowed by the game in no time.
Reminds me of a time where I was on some really poor internet service provider while at university, I had a 500mb cap per day (lol) and youtube would eat that up in about an hour, I use to watch shows and cartoons while doing work at my flat but after a few days I had no internet for 2 weeks :/ least you can monitor your bandwidth
use the in-game gameloft live, before you log in to play O&C press the gameloft live box bottom left, log in then look at the games list, will tell you how many people are online in each game. modern combat 2 still has like 200+ players at night.
I was wondering if i jailbreak my iphone 4 will this game run the same ...can i still do EVERYTHING im doin now(app purchases, wifi use without issues etc)....and will it run just as good? I know its a broad ques but i was curious since i was planning on jailbreaking soon..but then this came out and im hooked...thanks ahead guys
Yes you can do everything exactly the same. Although I'm not endorsing, just saying. Use google and you'll find your answers. That's what I did. (don't want to turn this into a jailbreak debate, so that's my quick answer) Anyway, just played again and monitored the data usage. Ok its not nearly as bad as 1mb a minute this time. I THINK I played for about an hour and it was around 15mb. So not so bad. It probably varies a bit.
Hm, I'm level 9 and I can't find new quests I walked to a city called Greensomething, but I can't get any quests there. there are lots of merchants and nps that only tell me one or two sentences when I touch their icon. How do I proceed? There should be some kind of message saying "Do you need new quests? Check out place xyz for some new ones..." or sth like that.
I don't see how people can get lost =) Just go to a place with a name on the map and there are always a ton of quests. Except for grenstone =)
We have a test SIM throttled permanently at 64kbps and it the game plays fine on phone-generated wifi hotspots running that speed.
Hey guys...gotta question. I'm a blacksmith and I want to increase from the Primary level to Intermediate. Someone told me I need 500 business currency, is that correct? Isnt that alot of crafting, considering most of the items only give you like 15 business currency? And then I go to Greenmont? I went there in the past but the blacksmith guy there didn't give the option of upgrading (nor did he say u needed 500 to upgrade). Or did I go to the wrong guy? Thanks a lot!
I tethered my ipad to my iphone via MyWi and played the game for 10 minutes to see how much data it used. It managed to use about 3Meg down, 1Meg up during that time. Not too bad, considering a heavy 3G youtube session can easily slip into the hundreds (maybe that's just me)
dang! i didn't get to play at all this weekend cause i was on a trip, and now everyone's like 15 levels above me...
I Just figured this out to, what you gotta do is when you go to greenmont when your talking to the blacksmith you gotta go to the last page then you have to buy the intermediate foundry for i believe 550 business currency.
Great, thanks. BTW, which of the original 6 primary items do you suggest crafting to maximize the business currency you get?
i think you have to wait till you're level 5...they are in silence. The leather guy's icon looks like a ripped piece of paper and blacksmith is an anvil.
