Good work inviters! The TouchArcade guild seems to be exploding. As I mentioned before, feel free to invite or recommend other people you've met in game that aren't complete idiots. I have a feeling most people who are playing this game either know what TouchArcade is, or if they don't, would probably like it here if the guild turns them on to the site.
Won this great game and I am enjoying it a lot was never a big fan of these types of games but I am now! Would love to join one of your guilds
The fishfolk at the tanned land (Chaos starting zone) drop pets also. It has some cool animations too. I've also seen a green variety of this pet but I'm not sure what drops it, probably some other kind of fishfolk.
Damn I'm so pissed. Level 24 gets Frost Mages level 2 talent of their best single target dps spell, Rockshard...and takes the cooldown from 5 seconds to 15. You know, because frost mages dont suck hard enough. Now the sequence will be Frostbolt to pull, Rockshard, Fireball, Frost Nova (or whatever its called) and run away if it aint dead. Not great...your going to get hit more without a second knockdown in the sequence.
What are the chances of this going on sale eventually? Almost all gameloft games go down to a dollar eventually, but this being an MMO, I wasn't sure.
Yeah I am not sure why they did that. You could choose NOT to train it though. At any rate, if you are going permafrost, you should not fire off the Rock Piercing until the mob is actually frozen if you picked the right talent. This might have to wait until Frost Blast goes off (if you also have the freeze talent added to that). Because Rock Pierce is already one of the highest dps spells of the Permafrost Mage, doing it when they're frozen is another 50% bonus to damage not counting if you crit (which could be +15% chance if you picked the talent to do the bonus damage). One freeze and I will usually kill the enemy that's my level or up to two higher before it gets to me.
Um, no. Just buy it. With the amount of people online ALREADY, which was 4x the players on MC2 the last time I checked, plus how much they're making from constant people buying iAP, plus subscription fees, yeah, it's not going on sale. MC2 has never been on sale before FYI. Considering this game already reached the player base that MC2 took many months to reach in 4 days, yeah I don't think so. It's only 45 on the paid games chart, but it's 8th on top grossing out of all the paid games.
The first talent point only gives a 3% chance to freeze...there are 5 points, thats only 15% chance to freeze, no? Frost nova is better, but still.
I'm lvl 13 and I haven't put any of my skill points in. What should I put them in? Btw, I'm a warrior.
For freezing, yeah, Frost Nova is better with a 60% chance with talents. But even at 15%, I'm freezing them quite often enough and killing them before they reach me. Then, onto the next one quickly. I may not freeze every one of them before they reach me, but since I get at LEAST 2 Frostbolts before they reach me (mixing in Fire too) plus Frost Nova when they do, I'd say 9/10 times they get frozen...which means a +50% Rock Pierce.
It means you cannot trade it to another player (selling or giving), or put it up for sale on the Auction House. You can place it into a storage chest or sell it to an NPC merchant though.
Ok, two questions: (have no idea if they've been asked bfore....) Where are the auction-npc's? Should i specialize my mage to either fire or ice? I know its possible to re-spec so im curious im now lvl 19 Thanks a thousand for answers!
You will find the first one inside a building at the market area of Greenmont. The next one is at Bellshoal in the Tear Coast. For your second question, it's up to you. I like permafrost myself, but I don't know which is truly any better than the other.
