Hey guys - i'm a tailor and i'm trying to make a new recipe i bought from the vendor, but i cannot create it. I bought the recipe, learnt it and now it says "Can't produce" on the spells page - any idea what i have to do to be able to product it? It's seriously driving me crazy!

Maybe you don't have the required materials.

 

1. Do you have all of the items?
2. Do you have bag space?
3. Have you tried scrolling down to see if you're missing something?

 

Thanks for the speedy replies. I have more than the required materials and have tonnes of bag space and i am not able to scroll down the materials list - i believe i only need Grenadine and Normal Armour Scraps.

1. Open up your profile and go into 'Options.'
2. Click 'game settings.'
3. Enable 'ping detector.'

If it's red, this means that you have bad or no connection to the server. This could be why it wasn't allowing you to create the item. The servers, since we're still a few days after launch, are having a hard time lately and it's very easy to get out of sync. Or, this could be just an odd glitch. Maybe try logging in and out?

 

You just be able to scroll the materials list. IIRC all grenadine recipes need normal yarn that you can buy from the crafting supplies vendor.

 

They did but it's easy to accidentally skip ahead and that will result in doing breadcrumb quests with nothing to do at the end. E.g. Glimmermoor is fulk of quests but IIRC not yet at level 20.

I have it enabled already, i do get random lag which is really annoying, however i'm just an idiot and didn't realise i could scroll through the materials list.

Perfect! You've solved my problem. I wasn't expecting to be able to scroll as i didn't see a down arrow on the materials list - a quick flick of the wrist and hey-presto, i realise i'm a bigger idiot that i first thought.

Sorry, i have one more question (i know how you all love these noob questions) - how do i create an intermediate garment? I assume i need to 'level up' my tailoring - though i don't have a clue how far through the level i am or anything.

I see alot of you have had problems doing quest because of too many players online, and all the other problems that come with an over pollulated server.

Im hoping the economy and amount of players will of settled down by September(when i will we able to get this game). What do people think? will i have the same problems all you guys had? or will it be a more dynamic gameplay?

I am also hoping the AH will be properly functioning by this time, and more content, eg. instances along with nice drops

 

You need to get 550 job currency, which is earned by making things with your profession. Then go to the trainer and learn the patterns.
