Fair enough. How many players are there? What's the end game content like/what is there (as I doubt many people are that level yet)? And I wonder if Gameloft will actually update it often enough to keep it interesting. Who cares... The game is $6.99 and u get 3 months to play it for that price. Weather it is ever updated from it's current form, has low population, or end game is lacking, you are still getting your money's worth at $6.99. People complain that gameloft cloned WoW, yet these same people are asking questions about it for comparison like it is an full blown pc mmorg on iOS, which it isn't. If you can't afford to spend the $6.99 asking price to answer those question in your post yourself... Please do yourself and the people that are playing and enjoying the game a BIG favor.... And don't buy it.
They are a little more difficult than the usual quests because you have to fight multiple mobs at once. Even if an area has been cleared of mobs, the person you are escorting will pause for a few seconds before spawning, say, three new mobs for you to fight. The person you are escorting can fight but has low hp so he or she will go down fast. Thus, you have to tag all the new mobs immediately and get as many of them to fight you instead. I tried healing the person you are escorting but it's much better to take the mobs down as fast as possible.
According to Gameloft LIVE! there are 1114 players currently online. 3 Questions: Whats with the Crime Scene Investigation quest? The NPC isnt spawning and people are just standing there Is there a guild bank? (like in WoW where members can take items) Why do items only stack to 20? its stupid. Oh wait i can answer this actually, its because of Gameloft wanting us to spend even more money on gold/runes to get larger banks/bags.(I dislike the fact that even though you pay for the game and subscription, there is still IAP)
1. Probably an issue. 2. I don't think they're in yet. 3. 20's pretty much a staple number to stack to in MMORPGs unless you're talking about ammo. It's not a scam.
I have 18 pages of games on my device, hundreds more on iTunes, more than I could play any time soon. I am not about to spend $9 for a game that isn't any good and will end up getting lost in my extra pages and never played again, especially when I have Steam, PS3 and 360 games to play at the same time. Stop trolling.
Who is online right now? So, I see where gameloft live says there are all these people playing right now, but I want to know what server they are on, because Tear Coast is just "Connecting...". I want to disemvowel that stupid word for blinking at me for tens-of-minutes at a time and never actually doing what it says it is...
No, it's not an issue. It's just like those dumb fetch the item quests. Whoever clicks first when the lady respawns gets to do the quest then. The rest have to wait for her to respawn again. Um, Tear Coast has already been confirmed to be down. Go play on another server. Everyone's on Arcadian Forest anyways.
We really need to see Gameloft make a dedicated website for Order and Chaos so that they can directly interact with and keep players updated about what's going on. If they keep the updates coming, respond to feedback, and interact with users directly then this will be a huge hit. Gameloft obviously has a horrible track record when it comes to this so they're gonna have to change their policies in this regard. I posted on their O&C forums and they responded by saying that they had sent me an email and it looked like that was how they had responded to a number of people posting suggestions. This will have to change.
I think they need a place to keep updates and even better yet, live customer support. I mean, I own an OaC discussion forum but obviously I can't help with lost characters and derp. They need to have a way for players to contact them. MMORPGs need support teams. Even moreso do they need to improve their servers, because Arcadian Forest is hell right now.
Exactly. They're gonna need to provide a LOT more support for this than they have for any previous games combined. There isn't even a way to put in a request in-game to a support person about problems, much less a place to go discuss it out-of-game.
Yeah, the total lack of a ticket system or even any mods at all is a bit disturbing. I mean, previous games? There's not many server problems to worry about beside multiplayer content. This? This entire thing is online and it's going to have tons of issues.
Each time I log into the game, I'm amazed all over again. It's more and more impressive every time I play. I'm having a hard time believing this is seriously a game on my phone. The graphics, the gameplay, the whole feeling is so fresh and new each time. I was so wrong with my pre-release guessing and Gameloft really exceeded my expectations with this game, BIG TIME. Anyone else having this problem?
I think it must be a glitch. It directs me tithe place where you kill tue Waterby Captains and Archers and there's nothing there. Thanks though!
