I guess its a matter of time before wikis start popping up for this game. Could definitely use some clarifications on things.
I have to say, I am definitely a Gameloft fan. I know I am not in the majority when it comes to opinions with Gameloft games. I think it's because I am 36 and remember the days of pong and Atari and the original Gameboy for portable games. But I have to say, for me, this game is absolutely fantastic. I have had no problems at all. I run a 3GS not jailbroken. Works well with my home WiFi and I find myself actually taking lunch breaks from work to sit outside of McDonalds, in the parking lot, to get in 30 or 40 minutes and it works totally fine. Does kill the battery fairly quick. The 1 thing I am disappointed in is that I am not in a Guild yet. I was too slow to get in the TA guild and haven't received an invite from "creepshow" yet (even though I signed up on his site and sent several messages). Feel free to add me as a friend (name is: rhljk14). If anyone knows another TA guild please send an invite. See everyone in the game.
Ill talk to Creepshow for you, as one of the guild officers ill see if they will let me invite you. Have you posted in the guild recruitment area stating your class, lvl, and spec?

So I have looked through about half of the posts but not been able to find an answer sorry if it has alrdy been asked. I was wondering what the status of world pvp is. Is there even a faction struggle are some servers pvp and some not? Are there certain world zones that are pvp enabled or is the only pvp going to be duels and whatever instanced pvp they make?
You dont get to pick. Mage/Monk = tailor, Ranger = leatherworker, warrior = blacksmith. Its pretty much just a gold sink, at least so far. I have been just selling my mats on the AH. If someone finds out that the best hats are craftable or something, then I'll buy one on the AH from someone that spend 15x as much leveling crafting. They really need to fix spawn rates. Many quests are just not doable given competition that kills the guy, then wait 5 minutes, someone else kills him. So you spam invites, and, sometimes, if you teammate kills, you dont even get credit. Right now I'm on rescue 10 sailors. Its in a super active field of lvl 14/15 crabs, and there are usually people camping the rare sailor spawn. To complete the quest seems almost impossible.
I cant remember either where the quests were given. But once you do 3 gathering type quests you get given a letter and you can then pick your specialty. I did it only 2 days ago..but cant remeber where....and I did it on 2 different servers
As a Ex-WoW vet, I have to say that what everyone is experiencing on kill-quests and such is nothing new for any MMO. I'm not trying to say its fun, or acceptable, but that its just part of the experience any time a new game or expansion launches. You think O&C is bad, you should have seen what WoW was like on its 1st expansion pack, especially on quests in areas that left you open for ganking. You're competing with 500 other people for the same spawns, and getting camped by some guy on his main who's trying to level his alt on the same damned quest
