In one of the early places you get a quest where you earn the right to learn one profession. You need to be level 8 to learn that profession. Once you're done, it shows up on the same screen as your spells do, in its own tab, and crafting is done on that screen.

It's happened to me a few times but it gets a lot easier later on when people are more spread out. I don't know a solution except of course that you don't need to do all quests, and it'll all calm down when the game is no longer new and everybody isn't the same level anymore.

Yea thats how I looked at it, i'm not normally an MMO type person, mainly due to recurring costs, but at $2.99 for 6 months, I can play for a year for less than the cost of one month of WoW.

Collect the minerals you need, whether from mining or cloth, then find a trainer in one of the cities. You can buy the recipe and make the item which in turn gives you the item and more business currency to buy more patterns. Some of the reagents needed are purchased from the vendor with a cogwheel icon.

As far as field goes, I guess try to form a team/party. One thing I'm noticing that is a real bummer is every quest objective location is extremely condensed into a very small area.

I've found 2 Auction Houses so far... one in Greenmount and one in Bellshoul. They have mallets for icons.

IMO the Arcadian Forest is really boring (the area not the server, cuz there are loads of people on it). I think that you should all do a little exploring, maybe up north a little and find Greenmount. It's a really fun area with an auction house, PVP arenas (which NPC's say are coming soon), and you can even buy pets there. They are a bit expensive because you have to pay gold, but still worthwhile. And how do I teleport to the Whispering Islands and other lands? Is there a way? Also I joined a guild!

Well...considering it's not vanity or exp or some sort of cheat to make your char better...I say turn a blind eye and just do it...lol

To Teleport to new areas u first have to run there to the teleprter. Then it is able to go there after. So to teleport to bellshaol (sp?) u have to run there first.

I was worried about it when I saw all the people standing around but I just tried to get everyone to group with me, chances are one of us would be the ones to initiate the attack (most joined) and quickly finished the quest.

That's all the advice I can think of, just try to group with others doing the quest.

Downloading this now and so freaking excited.

Too bad about the 3G thing, though -- hope they change that sometime.

And I really hope they add mounts eventually. Gameloft has always done a superb job with mounts in their games, and I'd love to see what they could do with them here.

I tether my ipad 2 to my iphone's 3g via wireless hotspot and it runs! Lol! Not really much of a solution but for those with an iphone 4 and an ipad this is sort of an alternative workaround.

What do pets do in this game?
EDIT: Also, I found a mage tutor before and I'm level 16 now and never have yet come across a ranger tutor. Does one exist?

Can someone tell me how is the battery life when playing? I assume it's pretty bad but i need numbers like about %20 for 1 hour or something for both iphone and ipad. I'm asking this because i may buy an ipad 2 tomorrow so any info will be appreciated. Thanks.

    Wi-Fi Only.

The wi-fi only part doesn't bother me. I use an Android phone with T-Mobile so I have the free hotspot. iPad thinks it's on Wi-Fi. Hello O&C on 4g! :)

Now I don't have much gametime in, YET, but I'm feeling it so far. For what it is, it's fantastic. Better than Pocket Legends simply in the fact that it's a true LIVE ACTION MMORPG on a small scale.

I think Gameloft is going to keep up on this one, because it's renewable income for them. They keep developing for it, we'll keep paying them for it. Makes sense.

    Anyway, just my 2cents.

It runs for many hours on the iPad 1, but on my iPhone 3gs it runs for about an hour to 2 hours.

I can't play the damned game yet, because everytime I try to login I keep getting the request timed out message.
