also, the game has IAP's, subscriptions, and an initial payment? That is a step a MMO should never make >_> you don't mix subscriptions and the freemium model..
WOW! Didn't expect it to be released so soon. Without reading through the 40 some pages of the thread is there any mention of instances? Also what are the available classes? And finally, within each class are there different specs? That is all, will definitely download tonight after work.
WoW does it. You buy the game, you pay a monthly fee, and there is a store where you can buy vanity items. I can't say I agree with selling gold but maybe it will cut down on gold sellers who inevitably show up and spam chat.
As this is a Mobile MMO, i think that he business model is spot on. Normal premium app, to keep away any major annoyances, Subscription, for people that really want to keep playing. IAP: Gold: for people that don't have that much time to play, but still want to enjoy the game. Runes: mostly vanity items

It should have shown "Install" instead of "Buy" on the button if you bought it already. I bought from the US store via the link provided and it does not do that for me so I am going to sync with my computer to get the app to my iPhone to be safe. Can you confirm that both iPad and iPhone on the same account access the same characters and progress? Assume this would be the case since state should be server based. One odd thing about using the link is that it shows a release date of April 21. Also, I can't find it via search or through listing Gameloft titles - only via the direct link. Wonder if this was meant for us. It does start up and let me log in to Gameloft Live. Have not had a chance to create a character yet or join a server.
