Anyone know how to complete "Requiem: God of Death"? I keep pressing on the eye, but it doesn't do anything.
The eye doesn't do anything, the way I did it was to get in a group and pick the enemies off one by one until you complete the quest.
It seems very strange to me that there are no achievements. I know Gameloft doesn't do Game Center, they have their own online facility for leaderboards and achievements, but here's the perfect game for earning achievements and yet there are none. Not just obvious milestone achievements like "Reached level 10" and "Killed my first Goblin" but ones that could take the grind out of grinding - "Killed 250 Fishfolk", for example. Other fairly simple achievements could be "Equipped a blue weapon", "Equipped all green armour", etc. plus achievements for completing all quests in a particular zone. At least you'd know that you had found them all then! On a platform where almost every game has online achievements, an online game without any stands out as a bit of a missed opportunity. Maybe they're considering adding them in an update, by which time it's probably going to be too late.
Where on earth is the relic island for Save the Polluted land with the demon detector and seed thing? Doesn't seem to the beach area in Bellshoal, don't see it in Salty Winds unless I'm looking wrong. I did complete the quest on another alt but have no idea what town it is! I'm wasting money teleporting and time trying to complete this darn quest. Thanks EDIT: It's a tiny island between Bellshoal and Salty on the far left side of the map. Btw I'm made it to the swamps at last!!!!
The quest item does nothing and I think that's a bug. If you can't find a group you can still complete the quest solo by exploiting the different leash lengths of the mobs. Go upstairs, target the guy you have to kill and maybe hit him once, then run/jump down to the bottom floor of the tower. He will follow you but tue skeleton bodyguards will turn back at the bottom of the stairs. Just follow the quest arrow, it will lead you right there. It's a small island off the coast.
Silence and Greenmont. I'm not sure if the ones in Silence sell upgrades or not, but I know the ones in Greenmont do.
I'm thinking of making an alt. I have a guardian warrior right now, which is tons of fun... I want a class that's going to be mainly dps. What class dishes out the most dps? And specs too would be nice. I'd have a guess that it'd be between military monks, archers, and skyfire mages. (Maybe permafrost?) Oh and on a side note. Permafrost mages can put you to sleep for 10 seconds... that's annoying. I've had a mage chase me around and use this whenever possible, then run away.
A few questions here... First off, I am making a divine monk, which is the opposite of what my previous post said. I have obtained the first 2 abilities which you can get in about a minute. What's the 3rd ability you get? Btw I'm talking about that every class get's 3 abilities that are not obtained through the talent tree. What is the last one of these for monks? Is influence worth it? Through my 26 levels on my main, I have found that every mob is about 1 or even more levels higher than me. So will I even get to use influence? I can see it being pretty kickass in a pvp battleground. Guessing they'll implement what wow does with the 20-29, 30-39, ect. and lv 60 having their own pvp bg. Then how would that work? Would it make them only autoattack or actually empty out their spells? Hm? Anyone know from pvp areas? Can this ability be used on lower lv players and not just mobs? And on that note. What will pvp be like? Will it be a free for all? A team based death match? Or will there actually be objectives... ex. capture the flag How does aggro work? It's going to need to be fixed when dungeons come around. Is it who attacks first get's the aggro, or who does the most damage? I'm guessing it's one of the two. What does spell power do? I'm guessing it increases spell dmg, but does it also increase heal? If you can't answer all of these, please try to answer some.
Arrow of Faith, Rapid Healing and Blessing of Vitality. Influence is okay, but I wouldn't bother investing more than 1 point (to lower cast time and raise duration), there are just better ways to spend you points. It does not affect other players, just mobs. I don't know, ask Gameloft Both, whoever attacks first will get initial aggro, but if someone does more damage they will take over aggro. I'm not certain about the details, like whether pure instantaneous damage or DPS matters more. Spell power increases spell damage, and doesn't affect healing. Healing power, a separate stat, affects healing.
That was very helpful, thank you. And is that first tier ability to decrease the cast time of rapid healing by .1, not sure how much each talent makes it go up, worth it? Seems way too small, and not helpful at all. Like.. can you react in .1 seconds? And what's the cd of rapid healing?
I think it's worth it. It's half a second with 3 points in it, and rapid healing will be one of your most frequently used skills. I'm not sure what the rank 1 cooldown is but at rank 8 (where I am), it's 2 seconds. I think it might not change, and be 2 seconds at every rank.
I feel like im spamming the thread with noob questions lol.. shouldve asked this in the other post tho. What is the initial cast time of rapid healing?
It's a bit confusing, but I believe the cast time is 1 second, and the improved rapid healing effect isn't shown in the skill page. What I mean is that both rapid healing and arrow of faith say they have 1 second cast times for me, but I have 3 points in improved rapid healing, so a .5 second decrease in cast time. When using the skills, arrow of faith seems to take about twice as long to cast as rapid healing, so I'm guessing my actual cast time for the heal is only .5 seconds.
Actually, spell power affects all schools of magical damage (fire, ice, healing, energy, shadow, and holy) but, of course, if you just want healing the +healing items are stronger than their +spell power counterparts. When I was a divine monk I put on all +spell power equipment because I wanted a blend of both offense and defense. Also, putting 3 points into Improved Rapid Healing to reduce the casting time from 1 second to half a second is totally worth it because it increases your healing per second (to counter the DPS that someone is doing to you) and makes it more difficult to be interrupted.
Yes, but healing doesn't fall into any of those schools. Holy power increases the damage of arrow of faith for instance, but doesn't affect healing. If you look at the stats page for magic, you will see under all those schools of offensive mage, there is a separate stat for healing power which is not affected by spell power boosts. Edit: Oh wait, I just noticed you mentioned healing there too. Hmmm... I'll have to double check, but I thought that spell power only affected the 6 offensive schools. I'll check now... Edit2: Yeah I just confirmed it, spell power does not affect healing power. I don't believe auto attacks can ever interrupt your casting, but there are several skills with knockdowns and stuns that interrupt casting.
