whats the name of your lower lvl char?? asking cuz my lower lvl char is _Apocalypse_ and i was going around the pvp area in the swamps just helping lower lvl char that where being attacked
Can some higher level blacksmithers help me out? I have been buying scrolls for blacksmithing (intermediate now) and they all are focused on battle warriors. Only giving strength and attack power. And there are only two handed weapons. Is this something that goes on throughout all of blacksmithing? If so, that would suck...
Well, mostly warriors and to a certain extent rangers can wear the metal armor. So dont you think it makes sense for most of the item to focus on the warrior? Both guardian and battle warriors need STR and STM most. The same way that leather worker would produce mostly AGL items focused on the Rangers and Assassins, and the cloth worker producing mostly WIS items geared towards the wizards and monks.
What I don't really understand is why loads of people appear to need to grind significant amounts at higher levels and yet there were several level 60s within a week (maybe sooner) of the game launching. You have to hope that not all of them were playing this game 24 hours each day until they reached 60. Even so, they would have been the first people in new areas and wouldn't have had anyone to ask "where is X" or "Where do I go to grind from A level to B level", so it must be possible to play through to 60 in a reasonably short amount of elapsed time with no help from anyone else. This isn't a criticism either way, I'm just a bit intrigued as to how some people can seemingly easily rush through to 60 and lots of others hit various grinding walls at different levels. Hopefully, my very slow progress (due to available time) plus Gameloft's plans to add more high level quests will mean it's all sorted (at least for me) by the time I get there...
Yeah those people just played for like 20 hours a day. And you can get decent XP from grinding, especially with the repeatable grind quests, it's just a bit tedious. I think anyone who hits a grinding wall before the desert just isn't thoroughly searching for quests. I only had to grind maybe one level before the desert. Gameloft has essentially admitted a shortage of quests from the desert on, and they announced they will be adding more quests to those areas.
Its generally acknowledged there is a gap in the swamp from 22/23ish to 25. That doesnt mean that most folks are right, maybe you found some hidden quest chains. I am leveling an alt until they fix the desert since I find grinding boring, and would love to here where you found hidden quest chains in the swamp.
I wish I knew, because I'd tell you but level 1 through 30 was such a whirlwind I barely remember any of the specifics. I know some people skip the Orlando (or whatever the retired sheriff's name is) escort quest, but he actually gives you a couple other quests after that. I can't really think of anything else. I basically just continuously made my rounds to all the areas with NPCs whenever I needed new quests, and did whatever was available, though I do believe the mid-twenties was when I did have to grind that one level.
Help with a quest. "Silver Mistress" "Steal the Obsidian Dragontooth from the Saithion shamon in the Saithion Lair." First off, I don't see any shaman. I have been in here for about 10 minutes in each spot and there doesn't seem to be one. If anyone has done this quest.. how do I do it?
I though as well .... until I did not realize I missed one quest that unlocked everything. Now I am grinding as part of boring quests plus being a mage ain't fun in the swamp.
Why is our guild (online) so empty? I'm a 40 divine monk and NO ONE from TA is ever playing... I'd love to group up and grind with guildies
It's one of the most frustrating quests ever. You have to go to that spot, find the shaman (there are a few of them) and kill them all, have them respawn and keep killing then, until one of them drops the tooth. Took me about 40 minutes to find one for myself and one for the guy I was teaming up with.
Problem is that there are so many quests that i cannot say which one you might have missed. In the swamp. do you see all quests available in the first villages or grayed out?
I don't remember that, if you go to that liar, there should be two types of fighers - the regular warrior type and the other one, and it's the other one you are after, whatever their name is. But yeah, it takes a while for one of them to drop the item, so you have to keep killing until you find it.
Yes. The quest was worded totally wrong, all you have to do is kill the summoners till you get the obsidian dragontooth.
There is no shaman, but any snake guy there can drop the item you need. Just keep killing them until you get it.
