Skyfire is good for damage while Frost is more focused on crowd control and survivability. In the end, you will probably end up going fairly deep in both trees because they both have desirable abilities. I'm focusing on Skyfire first and I'm having a lot of fun spamming shockwave to finish off multiple mobs at once. I plan to start going down the frost tree later when I'm ready to do some pvp.
Yah, The Whole Constant Repetitive Grind Your Way to The Next Lvl Just So You Can Qualify for the Next Quest is Annoying. Its Really Killing the Gameplay for me. It was fun in the beginning cuz It was Quest After Quest After Quest. It Kept me Looking Forward to Things. Now its Like...What? Really? But Oh Well...Hopefully When Dungeons Get Implemented, it'll Kill the Bordem of Grinding & Actually Help Lvl with some Nifty Drops to Look forward to in the Time Being.
Any chance theres any lvl 60's that could post screenshots of their complete talent trees? Im in the process of finishing off an online talent calculator and im having trouble finding color images of the talent icons. Ideally I need a screenie of each of the 8 trees completed... Only other issue i've come across is knowing exactly how each rank progresses for talent descriptions - but most are fairly easy to guess at based on the rank 1 descriptions. Once its published I can make any small corrections to talent descriptions if necessary. This is what the calculator currently looks like: You'll notice the final few icons on the skyfire side are just colorised versions of the black and white ones, and most of the permafrost tree is just using the skyfire icons for the time being - but the functionality is there. Ill also be adding arrows to the background image to indicate which talents follow on from others.
Thanks for the replies guys, so here's another question, how long does it take to get to max level and from the updates if Gameloft has given any.. do you think this will be a keeper to play for a few months?
Yesterday we organized an event in greenmont we had like 30+ people watching. It was a fighting contest with bets, two lvl 60 assassins fighting against eachother and then two warriors and finally two monks(the fight lasted 30mins). We had about 30 gold in bets in total. Really, with some initiative this game can get really fun and exciting. At the end, the winners were treated like real heroes by the other players and the global chat was all about the fight and the good moments. In a different server, some people actually did a giant hide and seek with 60 people lol i love this game
I have a couple questions... probably covered before but OMG so many pages to look through and search! 1) I'm a level 25 mage. Is the town of Silence the only place to upgrade spells? (other than the talent tree). it's a long hike/expensive teleport rides to go back to Silence each time I want to upgrade my spells... 2) Crafting... I can only craft Grenadine-based stuff and I have purchased all the plans (five plans?). How/where do I do the next "level" of crafting? 3) Any tips for PvP? I'm not a fan of PvP and when I try to complete quests in PvP areas I am typically attacked while fighting some monster and I am easily killed. Any advice?
1) greenmont is the other 2) I believe you need to purchase the upgrade. It's from one of te NPCs. Either your crafting one or your spells one. Obviously you'll need to be the right level to unlock it (you probably are) 3 no advice. I believe gameloft are working on a way to get rid of these pvp/quest zones. At least their getting rid of graveyard camping, which is good but they'll need to do much more than that. I suggest you male an alternate character and camp it in greenmont. You use that character for buying all your upgrades and auction house stuff. Most importantly you use that character as a bank for you cash, otherwise you'll lose a lot through during and paying the fee. You do all this by sending it all in the mail to/from each character. (can't believe you've made it this far without doing this, in a way hats off to you, because it's definitely easier having the alternate character as a mule). Goodluck
Awesome, thanks. I'll check out Greenmont because neither my crafting nor spells NPC will sell me anything other than basic crafting plans. I didn't think that "mule" strategy would work. Wouldn't it always say "Can't learn that"? or something like that? Or does it not matter (I'm guessing you can still buy...)
Not in this game. In this game an elite is a regular mob, or sometimes a named mob, a little bit beefed up from usual. Nothing that cant be done solo. They are supposed to have slightly better drop rates as well.
Connection Advise I was really excited for this game, but my connection is never strong enough to play consistently, in my house or a friends. I have a 4G Touch and verizon fios is there some trick? ive heard of boosting connection through computer is this possible? Would really appreciate some help thanks.
For all guardian warriors.... How much damage are you doing with shield slap? Is it worth the point? Thanks in advance.
