From what i understand the benefit of crafting is to complete more content and to sell the higher level items on the AH. Right now it is probably a better bet to sell your resources if you just want money - but you miss out on the challenge of becoming a high level crafter. No, I don't believe crafting gives you XP rewards, just business currency to spend on more profession recipes and books. Someone correct me if I am wrong because if you do get XP I will be crafting again.
Hey Emos! If there is room I vote that you join the guild! There is no commitment and it is really just a glorified chat room with all of us from the forums. It is also the first place I go to for help when I am stuck in game. I don't think joining would change your time commitment to the game - unless you just like us sooo much that you never want to leave the chat room!
Anyone know where the whitetooth thief quest is ? Trying to clear up quests and this ones been grey for ages. Presume that means its on another map but i've tried going to a few different maps but nothing. Any clue ? Cheers
Sounds too familiar. I actually did WoW before but quit for the exact same reason. Sad to say this but most people you will find in these games are not worth teaming with. Of course there are always exceptions, but they're not that common. Having played my first char (Assassin) to lv45 I can say it's been rather easy to solo. Sure I've teamed a few times but it has been just to do stuff faster not because of difficulty. Don't know if that'll change at higher levels but I highly doubt it.
That is a very good idea to solve the problem. Toggling it to "Pve" would prevent you from getting the pvp status in contested areas and also preventing you from attacking flagged players. To toggle it back you are forced to restart the game. Easy fix instead of having separate servers, which might make all servers half full due to excessive spread of players.
I am level 45 in the desert and I seem to have done all of the quests. There are one or two that are whited out, but that is about it. Do I just have to grind it out here until level 50, or am I missing some quests.
How often do you guys have to grind a level? I'm 34 and it feels like every other level has to be grinded to unlock more quests...is this the case for you all?
I am too, lol. But seriously, how many people actually are in-game at a time? Is the game worth the monthly fees? Serious question here.
Is the Mage really as bad as everyone says? Is it just the talent tree you chose? It looks pretty fun to me, but not if it flat out sucks.
Does Gameloft Live! Tell how many people are on like their other games? Nvm, forgot I could check myself in my other games
I don't think mages are bad... Good dps... I'm not really sure if any of the classes are underbalanced. I had fun with it, played it for 15 levels, just wasn't my style though. Go try it.
My main is a monk but leveling is extremely slow at higher levels so I'm taking a break and leveling up a mage alt. So far I'm having a lot of fun being a glass cannon so I think it's just a matter of learning how to play each class differently. The only thing is that I have to carry a stack or two of food with me all the time but otherwise I'm pretty happy with the diverse abilities of the class.
Maybe I'll start a mage then. I have a warrior and it's pretty cool, but I'm getting a little bored with it. Any mage tips, like which skill tree I should go with?
What I would like to see is is a notoriety status. Whenever you attack a lower level player your notoriety status would increase by one (or maybe even one point per level difference) and then you wouldn't be able to attack anyone with a lower notoriety status than yourself. Getting killed in PvP would lower your notoriety by one. Then introduce some quest you could do to lower your status. It couled be like really annoying running quest from NPC to another in different areas, so that it really seems like a chore. I'm not saying this because I like PvP since I really don't. On my server the player ganking isn't really that big of a problem. Sure it happens but most of the time the PvP status just makes you look over your shoulder and keep you on your toes. At 46 you will get a few quests but they'll only cover like 10% of the XP needed for next level. Currently doing that stretch myself. Decided not to grind anymore. Instead I created another character and I'm only playing my main to gain XP from daily quests until I hit 47 and get more quests. I've seen at least 4 silver marked quests so I know there will be quests to do. Just yesterday I discovered a new camp to get quests from but they're still silver to me. The camp is somewhere between Sdukar and Crimson Tower Sacrathar and it's not marked on your map. That's just about the level the grinding seriously started for me. Been doing that every level from 34 to 46 so far. There's been only 2 levelups that I've gained naturally without any grinding during those levels. Then again I'm playing an Assassin so I'm utilizing Stealth and Smoke Bomb quite a lot when questing so I'm not getting any unneeded extra kills that might give me XP. Like said already there's too many at lower levels. I have started a few alts and often times it feels infuriating having to wait for NPC's to spawn for escort quests and stuff like that.
