If you guys could relocate all the chatter about pricing, value, and things that aren't entirely relevant to this thread to the iOS price discussion thread that would be awesome- http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=88443
Again, any guild I can join? Send me a PM or a message in-game if you have a spot available. I am a casual player and looking for a group of friendly people to enhance the game with and help out in teams. I'm on the European server Storm Cape.
I think overall they have their ups and downs, but none that I would say from experience that are overpowered. Unless the other player is 3 to 5 levels higher, the matches are pretty balanced given you weren't caught off-guard or ganged-up on...
The classes seem fairly balanced, but a monk with a couple mana potions is nearly unkillable. I've only been beaten by people ganging up on me (though I've even beaten a couple groups on my own), or people much higher level. And I'm a divine monk (healer), not even the military branch
Agreed. My Monk is 70/30 Military/Divine and it's pretty much the same. I'm a cudgel user so my aoe skills stun and knock-down for added crowd control, so he can hold his own with no problems. Loving every moment of my build.
I have to say I'm loving the game so far. It has a LOT of content for a mobile game. I think I've spent at least 24 hrs on it and not even midway through. There must be over a hundred quests with short stories, beautifully laid out towns, great landscape/mood, character/armor modeling, and combat mechanics. I'm surprised they got this close to WoW in this short amount of time. The whole continent feels very continuous. No loading between zones, no crashes for me, no fake 2D flat grass/objects. All in all I think the end product was pretty polished and I'm glad GL didn't just push some beta quality stuff on us. Surprised this is actually done by a team in China! Love it.
Wouldnt the frost mage's silence be an "I win button"? I know its an "I win button" against another mage. Its an instant cast, and divine monks dont have an interupt anyway, so if it shuts down their casting its not a match its a slaughter. But it may not work, havent tested it on a monk to my knowledge (its mostly rangers that gank). Frost mages may also have an "I win button" against warriors -- a shield with 100% melee damage return. I havent tested that in PVP, its always rangers that own me. Pretty sure only a hybrid mage will do well against a ranger -- combine the instants/stuns from both spell lines to (hopefully) stun lock him.
I dont know this for sure but Im guessing damage returned will probably be lessened by their better damage reduction/armor. Might still hurt though.
Silence is a minor annoyance at best. It doesn't last long enough to save them. Mages are actually the easiest to take down by far in my experience. I usually have restore on already so I'm regening health even if I can't heal for a short time, and I have much higher armor and a decent weapon attack, so the short lasting silence just isn't enough.
Yea, I bet you do, damage is based on block and armor of shield. There's then a chain talent that lets you add 1 second of stun per talent point. For complete stun customization.
I accidentally sold my fish folk pet to a vendor, I realized it right away but there is no way to buy back items. The thing is going for 50 g on the ah too.
That would suck. I have almost done that with a lesser pet but caught it just before I finished. I have spending most of my time pet farming and adding people to my guild, 175 members now.
Huh. I'm surprised they wouldn't have a buy-back feature for at least the last item you sold. That's a bit sad.
Definitely, I lost my profession book because of a dumb move. Wish I could've bought it back, but I can't.
What are some of the animals you can get pets from at level 10? I too acidentally sold my lobo and was devastated?
