heh, I read it again and I don't know how I missed it the first time. Sorry! I hope that Gameloft doesn't go freemium on this though. Never ends well.
This trailer answers most of my questions. I was wandering if there willbe pvp/pk - looks like it... Parties? Looks like it... Looks that there willbe quite few professions. I'm so looking forward to play this game! :-D
yeah its the facebook "vote for your side" thingy edit: didn't want to double post For more Screenshots from the video click here For a breakdown analysis of the video click here
The new trailer answered some more questions for me I think: - They're building this on their existing graphics engine, hence the just "okay" looking environments, which suffer from pop-up and lack of draw distance. While that's no deal breaker, it WAS a huge problem in Aralon. - It looks like PVP is implemented and ready to go right out of the gate! - Party sizes look small, possibly only 3-4 people per party. Not sure how raids are going to work or even if they'll exist. How would you display the entire raid on your tiny screen? I'm thinking raids they'll be absent from the game. - Each trailer shows the large gatherings of people, ALWAYS in town. This leads me to believe we're headed towards a Pocket Legends set up, where you'll form a party in town then enter your own instance/area. I've enclosed some pictures to kind of support my guessing here. Either way, there's no facts in any of my post, just observations and I will be buying this game on day one, regardless. I think it's going to be a better experience than Pocket Legends, but ultimately a Wow on training wheels. Just my $.02. Enjoy the pics.
What up homie! I was only basing this assumption on the Dungeon Hunter 2 model, which for 4 players, requires a wi-fi connection to avoid latency lag.
Also if you noticed there is more than 3 skills. I never think otherwise but there was a discussion about it so i just want to make it clear. Watch around 0:38 he probably swipe the skill bar and so it rotates.
It actually changes the character. If you look closely the first 2 were human males and the last (the 1 with different skills) is a female. I actually suggested adding the rotating skills + adding some on the other side of the screen (where the joystick is), but who knows if they'll do it
You're absolutely right... Dang, I want to be able to play this on 3G while I'm driving! wait... maybe that's not a good idea.
Cannot wait for this game! Im just concerend about a few things. I Really hope they don't go with a pocket legends set up and make you load a new room every ten feet. I hope a bunch of people actually play. Gameloft games are pretty deserted. MC2 only has like 800 players on a GOOD day. I want mounts but theres been no sign of them yet! But more than anything, I want this game in my pock-it!
I have to say that trailer was pretty sick. I'm excited. Like way more then before after I saw how many people are allowed in one spot. I know the draw distance is a little close but that's still dang impressive. And I mean think how that will change as it gets on the iPad 2 and iPhone 5(whenever they release that). But the A5 chips are double the performance and 9x graphics speed so it will allow for alot more. In my own opinion if gameloft doesn't screw this up with some microtransaction mess like NOVA Elite. This game is gonna be freaking sweet for just being on a phone
because people are hating on it for being a "wow clone". And just for fun, here's a conspiracy theory: other game developers (such as the ones of PL) are getting their staff and others to dislike gameloft's O&C videos ahhaha
