Yes yes, as i've been waiting every second of every minute of every hour of every day so anxiously, now my joy is wearing off. My excitement is limited, Gameloft had better release some news about updates!!
If you notice on the Gameloft Facebook page, Order & Chaos got bumped down under Fast Five, which to me means it's still in the oven cooking and Fast Five, which won't be out for a few more weeks, will be out before it. So another solid month we'll have to wait (at least) is my speculation. I think they started with the hype on this one way too early.
I think you just gave a few people strokes. Anyways, getting bumped doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the release date right? Here's me being optimistic.
Well I mean I want then to take their time and not rush this out. Because I would rather it be good and everything worked out then a rushed out game. But at the same time to sike me out for it 3 months early if your not even gonna give some good game info and videos
I don't know. Ever play Aralon: Sword and Shadow? That had a whole lot of town in development. Like A LOT of time. And it was a great game, but all the bugs and glitches killed it. That and the lack of continued support they promised. I mean, I still play it, wandering around the world, but being a single player game that has stayed the same for the last 4ish months, it got pretty old. I guess all that to say, I hope they don't take too long for nothing, and I need social interaction.
Aww jeez this is Starfront: Collision all over again. Release teaser trailer in December, game comes out in February.

Creating a guild when a game isnt even out yet is idiotic. Anyone can take the name making the site useless
Not to mention, we don't really even know if actual in-game guilds will be in the game, do we? I mean, we're all speculating that they'll surely be in the mix, considering how popular of a staple they are, but still... I'd call that jumping the gun just a bit... It's fun to plan, but nothing is set in stone at this stage. And a bit silly to congratulate yourself on being "first".
I too find the concept of Order & Chaos guilds to be absurd. How do you imagine you're going to communicate if Gameloft doesn't support guilds? You don't even know if you can communicate in-game. How will you monitor who joins your clans? Modern Combat 2 has hundreds of SAE clan members but I'm willing to bet that only 50% of them are official. Furthermore, what would be the point of the clans? Just to look cool? Just to have a misplaced sense of belonging? To create playdates for the game? Lastly, I hope you realize this is too much effort for a game played on such a tiny screen. Don't get me wrong, I spend hours and hours on my iPod Touch but... Don't make this your life, you will look worse than the most nerdy of WoW players.
Well there is a point and advantage to belonging to a guild, and it's not to look nerdy or feel like you belong. It makes it easier to find groups for quests and instances. Of course we don't know if O&C allows guilds or has group quests or instances, or anything for that matter. So prematurely forming a guild, let alone creating a website for one, seems a bit ridiculous.
Your point on the advantage of belonging to a guild would be very valid if we were talking about WoW. WoW actually has a very intricate guild system and they have guild quests and guild jobs. Somehow I think Gameloft will not employ any of those... Edit - Sorry, I didn't read your entire comment. You made the same points

I actually found this forum, because I saw a few of the visitors to my guild site to be coming from the link provided by you For those of you who are saying negative things about what I did, you have the right of an opinion. Some of you brought up valid points, as well. For those of you who want to join the community, feel free to do so. We are not so much as actively recruiting for the guild (at least atm) per se, but rather trying to build up a community of people who are excited about Order&Chaos, and are going to play the game. Yeah, they replied to me actually I also collect other responces and post interesting news and analysis about the game in our news section Thank you guys! Good luck with your guild! Once the game is out, I might join, but it is too early at this stage to join a guild. Considering Gameloft gives us so little to talk about and TA forums are the only place on the internet where there is a discussion about O&C, it'll be hard to create a community until the game is out.
