oh, is the level cap 60?
    didn't know that
i guess it all depends on how hard it is to level

Well that's just a guess based on the fact thatthe highest level in the video and any of the screenshot was 60

Here's the deal. In WoW, leveling to 85 (current cap) is relatively easy, but even after you completely level, you'll still have hundreds of unfinished tasks and quests. Also WoW gives you a profession to further waste your time. If you seriously have no life and finish all the quests and professions, Blizzard gives you two more character slots. Currently you can mix and match 120 combinations of races and jobs. Basically the sheer amount of content means the player will become addicted forever (muahahahahahahah!)

However this might not be the case for Order & Chaos... We'll see...

Having never hard core played WoW, and having played plenty of RuneScape, how do their skill/xp systems compare?
And should we expect O&C to follow the WoW model?

Runescape doesn't really have actual skills for melee or archers. But it's been so long since I've played it, maybe they do now.

Well you train your combat prowess (be it in archery, strength, attack) just like you'd train any other skill. I really like how that works. What I also find awesome, I'd the fact that you gain xp on the amount of damage you do, not on the kill. So if you're fighting some huge demon deal and almost kill it but you end up having to flee, you've still gotten the xp from fighting it.

Yeah I expect them to be more like WoW. In wow they distribute your attributes for you (I doubt they will in this) and you put your skills into a talent tree (which there are three of for each class) for instance Hunter could be marksmen, beast master, or survival. It was really a novel idea for classes that could heal, making them much more accessible. Such as Paladin: Retribution = DPs Holy = healer and Protector = tank. Im hoping something like this will happen. You don't have to just use one tree, but there's a usually awesome power at the end of each spec.

Outside of the releases of photos and media (which I don't exactly consider as news), it's been 1 month minus 5 days since we had news.

Haha so much for that acclaimed gameloft employee telling us the video would be released the next day.... I was getting kinda excited about stuff being unlocked everyday. But it's been quiet for a couple days now...
